Leo

You and Leo were arguing because you protested one of his orders on a mission

It was a recon mission, just get info and get out

But when the foot came in, you thought it'd be a great opportunity to weaken their ranks

Leo on the other hand, thought you should all go back to the lair

It was the first time you two had fought this much, and in public

When you got back to the lair, you and Leo continued fighting, Leo was always calm during your fights, talking to you in a condescending tone, he finally said "I can't argue with you, you're acting like a child. We can talk about it later when you're done being immature."

It hurt

But it was also so fucking angering

You're partners. You're supposed to be equals, and you certainly weren't one of his brothers he could talk to like that.

Your heart was pounding out of your chest, and by the look of Leo's face, he knew he fucked up.

Even his brothers were surprised, and immediately went to your side

You didn't pay attention to them though, not answering any of their questions, not even looking at them

You just started walking out of the lair, trying to hold back your tears of both anger and hurt.

You stayed in your home for a week

Leo wanted to go and apologize, but Master Splinter advised him to leave you alone

And April said the same, to give you time

So he did

But a week later, without seeing or talking to you, he just couldn't hold it in- the guilt was eating him alive.

And that's how he found himself in front of your window

Holding your favorite flowers and snacks

Trying to convince himself to knock on it, yet freezing each time he was about to do so

Only to accidentally bump into it

The window creaked open a little bit

"..."

"uhm.... Can... Can I come in?"

You silently opened the window more, moving to the side to give him space

Leo cleared his throat,

"uhm.. look... I'm- I'm really sorry, I was upset and stressed and- and I didn't mean anything I said, you- you didn't deserve that, you're my s/o, not my brother, and I'm your boyfriend, not your leader, and- well, what I'm trying to say is I'm really sorry for what I did and- you obviously don't have to forgive me, I- I understand"

Proceeded by the most shameful, guilty, kicked puppy eyes look ever, one that was almost better than Mikey's.

You just stared at him, your face an unintentional (or intentional) scowl as your eyes glared him down, your lips pulled down into a frown as you just stared at him

Leo panics at the silence, usually you were quick to say something or make a face at his sappiness, but right now you were utterly silent

When your tears finally begin to flow down your cheeks, that's when Leo decides to step in fully, wrapping his arms around you as he pulled you towards your bed, his cold, scaly hands rubbing up and down your arms as his face was a mixture of panic and regret.

Once you've calmed down, you both sat in silence for a long time before you were finally able to get a few words out, though they were barely a whisper "You made me feel small, Leo" you waited another long moment to get more energy to speak more "You acted like- like I was being irrational, and that's...that's not ok. We're supposed to be equals, Leo, partners. You can't just...chalk up my feelings to me being too emotional or immature"

Meeting him...

He rescues you from some foot soldiers wanting to get some extra cash

At first, he's angry, thinking you'll run off

He's already on the defense, immediately saying "What! Yer not gonna thank the monster that saved ya?"

You just look up at him in surprise and say "well I was going to until you got all passive aggressive"

And he tries to suppress his shock that

1, you're talking to him,

2 you weren't scared of him and

3, that you talked back to him

Raph just sorta half laughs at you and says "Well shit, ya got me there doll"

He "begrudgingly" walks you home

And after that you ask for his number, which he gives

Befriending Him

You two are sass and sass

Always going at one another, you are much calmer however

He'll invite you to train with him (lifting weight, etc.)

Whenever he gets mad, he'll go to you to vent

You may even get a punching bag for your apartment so he can vent and punch

You put him in his place whenever goes overboard with the insults

Or you give him a genuine hurr look and he'll stop

I personally think Raph cooks very well

So he'll try out recipes with you

Not around his brothers tho, so they don't see him all soft

He might teach you how to knit

As one of his only friends, he wants you safe even if he won't admit it

So, he'll teach you some basic self defense skills, and let you use them on him

All in all, as a friend, it takes time for Raph to trust you, but once he does, he is an absolute sweetheart (most of the time)

First Date

These sessions of self defense usually include

Lingering stares

Bashfully looking away

and Blushing at the smallest of touch

These drive Raph absolutely insane

His confession probably takes place when you two are blowing off steam sparring together

You walked into the layer a bit upset, having had a bad day

And when you got the, Raph was already pissed

(he has been trying to think of ways to ask you out, and his brothers ideas aren't good enough)

So, you two are sparring and you start getting up close and personal

Finally, Raph ends up pinning you down

And you see just how mad he is, so you ask him about it

And in the heat of the moment he just yells

"Can't find a good fucking date to take you on!"

You both freeze

Raph is shitting bricks, having gone pale and has a face of utter horror

You are just as shocked and staring at him, overwhelmed

You finally move to close the space

And give him a kiss on the cheek with, "Well, I recently took a trip to Joanna, so we could hang at my place, watch movies and knit"

Raph feels as though the weight of the world was just lifted off of him, he is in complete disbelief, but accepts

He comes to your home 15 minutes early with his needles

He greets you a little awkwardly and asks to borrow your kitchen, you let him

And he makes the absolute best dish ever

As you eat you pick a series to watch (hells kitchen)

And as you two eat, you and Raph yell at the TV and criticize along with Gordon Ramsey

Once your done eating you each start knitting

Or you watch him knit

At the end of the night, he's done with his little project

It's a little tapestry knitted to look like his mask framed

He helps you hang it up

And gives you a goodnight kiss good bye

After this, he is all but floating back to the lair, just content that you share his feelings

Dating Him

As long as you've been able to cultivate a proper and close friendship with him before you start dating, he isn't as rough around the edges as you'd think

There are somethings he still hasn't told you

But those will come with time and patience

Dating Raph means Actions > Words

Although he'll call you things like Doll, Doll face, Babe, and even Sweetheart (in private)

He mainly shows his love through trying to solve your problems, similar to donnie

And really appreciates quality time

And from you, he'd really appreciate words of affirmation

Raph wants you to not only tell him, but show him you really love him

Private cuddles and sweet nothing's are his favorite

You laying on his chest while he knits

Him cooking your favorite meal to take for lunch

If you ever need help with heavy lifting, he near teleports to you

Can't open a jar? He's there Can't seem to lift the couch to mop? He's there Wanna rearrange your furniture? He's there

Even though Raph acts like he is bothered, he takes pride in taking care of you

He wants you to know just how meaningful you are to him

And if you stay up late enough while you two cuddle

You'll hear him express just how much you mean to him

Ugh. Donnie couldn't stand you.

Sure, you were his s/o, but sometimes you just got on his nerves.

I mean, seriously, who even tried to do a backflip without previous experience or practice?

Ok, maybe you didn't do that

That was Mikey.

No, you had decided that you would mess around with one of Mikey's Nunchucks, of course.

Mikey was going to "teach" you how to use them

The same way he "taught" you how to skateboard

Donnie overheard the conversation between you and Mikey

"Woah! Mikey! That was awesome!" "I know right, my ninja skillz are like no other, bruh"

"why don't you show me how you use them?" "Well.. magicians don't share their secrets... But I'm not a magician! I'm a ninja! C'mon, let's go to the dojo, I've got some extra Nunchucks there!"

Donnie had never left his lab so fast-

But by the time he was out, you and Mikey had disappeared

You were going to be the death of him

Recently you had been getting more and more reckless

When he first met you, sure, you were stubborn and reckless, but recently, it's like you were trying to hurt yourself

Then he heard it

Thump

And you groaning

Oh no oh no oh no

When Donnie burst into the dojo, he saw Mikey crying, supposedly over your death

And you on the floor, rubbing your head, with your eyes barely open

"Mikey! Go get me some ice, quick!"

Donnie leaned down over you, and examined your injury

"How many fingers am I holding up?"

"zix?" You said groggily

"...I don't have six fingers"

"oh... Oops..."

Donnie sighed, and brought you to his lab

"what were you thinking y/n?"

"I don't know, I just thought it'd be fun"

"and how did skateboarding with Mikey go?"

"ugghhh"

"yes. Exactly"

"but seriously, why are you being so much more reckless ?"

"I just... I'm scared."

"what?"

"Don, we've gone through more life threatening events than pretty much anyone! Heck, we could die tomorrow!"

Donnie's gaze softened as he saw you getting teary eyes

Of course you were... What all of you had gone through was much more than any typical person should ever have to go through

"I just... I guess I just want to make sure I'm making the most of it, y'know? I want to have fun, and take risks, before I won't be able to anymore"

Donnie understood this was a normal response to all of the trauma you had experienced

"I understand, but you still need to be more careful! I... I don't want these stupid stubs to be your last, ok?"

His eyes met yours once again,

Only this time, you smiled up at him, cupped his cheek

And closed the space

"thank you, Dr. Donnie " you smiled coyly

As you left his lab, Donnie was stuck in his chair, frozen yet blushing from neck to ears

Raph's brothers were annoyed as fuck to be honest

You and their red clad brother have so much romantic tension it's unbearable

So, originally Mikey and Donnie got together to form a plan, they were going to try to leave you two in the lair, by yourselves, in hopes that you and Raph would work yourselves out.

However, Leo being... Leo, he stood nearby, listening, and occasionally giving ideas

But, they knew better, they knew they couldn't tell raph about their plan until the very last minute.

So... They went on

Secretly sneaking out to get things like fairy lights, your favorite movies on CDs, etc.

They noticed that Raph stocked up on your favorite foods and snacks in the lair already, so they saw this as an opportunity for Raph to show off how much he cares.

It was perfect. Their plan was immaculate, with Donnie confirming it had about an 85% success rate, with Mikey piping up that if it was more than 50, that's all the reassurance they needed

Their plan was starting to fall into place.

First, Mikey set up fairy lights in the living area, with the excuse of making it more homey.

Then, Donnie started fixing up their tv, giving it upgrades and such for better resolution and sound.

Then, Leo was in charge of making sure everyone would be out of the lair, so you and Raph wouldn't have any interruptions

Hell, even Master Splinter stepped in by making sure to get on Raph's case about making sure his room was clean.

Everything was ready.

Now... For the hardest part...

Getting Raph on board.

They decided that the best one to tell him was Mikey, seeing as he was closest to Raph.

And needless to say, Raph was... Upset

"The fuck do You mean "my chance" Mikey!?"

"well... You know, you two are already practically dating right? I mean, y'all almost kissed last movie night!" Mikey was... A bit nervous

"how 'bout, all of you stay the fuck out of my business!!"

"Oh c'mon big bro! We already texted y/n to come over and everything! You wouldn't wanna let 'em down riiiiight?"

Raph hated how all of his brothers adorned a smug grin, had an itch to punch it off their faces

It's not that raph didn't like you, he really did

But you were just so kind! Yet strong! And passionate,

You knew how to be calm, you could be kind to everyone,

He tried to convince himself that this was why he wouldn't ask you out, but in reality, he knew you liked him

You'd laugh at all of his jokes, grabbing his arm

You'd cuddle up to him on movie nights while looking at his lips, then his eyes

He almost lost himself last movie night, almost let you two kiss

But he pulled away last minute, and he could see your eyes fall from the rejection

"arggghh Mikey! Why d'y'all have to be so fuckin' nosy!"

"Raph! Why are you so upset! You like them, and they obviously like you!! What's got your panties in a twist bro!"

"Why aren't you dating them?"

"because..."

"I'd probably destroy them!"

"I'd probably be into that"

Raph froze, it was as if a glacier had fallen on his head

He couldn't believe it

How long had you been there? How much did you here? Why did you respond like that?

Mikey practically squealed, Donnie pumped his fist in the air in victory, and Leo still adorned that same smug grin

Raph turned around, finally facing you

You were blushing like crazy, yet you were looking up at him as if he was the best person in the world

His brothers decided to retreat, leaving you two alone in the lair under the fairly lights

Raph felt as if he had died and come back to life, only to get a heart attack, he was... Afraid, of what? He didn't know, but his heart was pounding in a way that you could hear it from outside of his plastron

"look... Raph... I don't want to force you or pressure you or anything of the sort, but... If you like me, I'd like to know why you don't want to date me? Please?"

"I ... I jus don't wanna hurt ya..."

"oh, Big Guy, it's ok... I really don't think you are capable of doing so... But arguments are normal in a relationship, it's just about working them out, together"

By now, Raph had one arm slinked around your waist

Raph whispered "I'd like that... y/n, I love you"

"aw, I love you too big guy" you whispered back

And you two closed the distance, starting off with soft pecks, which slowly turned into longer kisses

The night ended with you in his arms after watching your favorite movie, snacks littered the floor, and Raph taking in your features under the soft glow of the yellow lights.

You and Raph have been dating for 2 years now.

This means that you two are very comfortable with each other, therefore, when you, his cute, nerdy s/o, who was mainly introverted, told him you were going out to a party with friends, he was intrigued, to say the least.

"And uh, what brought this on?"

"nothing really, I just wanted to try something new!"

And that's how the long wait started

Although Raph was nervous, he knew this was good for you, it was good that you had topside friends, and that you hung out with them

So he waited

Until you finally walked through the lair

The smell of liquor hit his nose like a tsunami. Oh boy, you were very drunk

"did you" your accusing finger hit his plastron

"know, that youuu are my faaaaavorite giant tur- uh tuter, uhm, tutl, uhhh"

"heh, turtle?"

"uh, yea, yea, yea"

"Doll, are you sober?"

"I am moderately functional" your sloppy smile said otherwise

"I'll take that as a no" Raph picked you up, cupping your mid back and the underside of your knees

"awww but raaaaphieeee"

"nuh uh, yer gonna go to bed, wit me"

You slumped against him, but didn't protest

Once you were in his room, he set you on his bed.

Your eyes were closed, the liquor and fun from the night finally weighing down on you.

You cringed at the wet thing that was gently wiping your face

"just a sec, gotta wipe her face 'fore bed"

You relaxed, and even fell asleep sitting there

As raph tugged off your clothes, pulling one of his shirts over your head, he held you gently

You were cuddled between his biceps and his plastron, Raph's comfy knitted blanket keeping you two warm.

Finally having you in his arms, he relaxed.

Getting to now the turtles! A little Mini-Series!

Meeting Him:

Honestly? You probably met him through April or his brothers...

April decided to bring you over to the lair, after months of her dodging you wanting to meet her friends

So, as you walk into the lair, you meet Mikey first, ever excited for new friends

Then Leo comes to greet you like a "proper guest" (as leo puts it)

And lastly Raph just seems to stare at you a bit and give a grunt

Later, 1 of 2 things happens

Either Leo or April's drags Donnie out to greet you

Or your curious ass goes to see what's going on in the strange lab room

Once you see him, he greets you quickly and goes back to what he was doing in his lab

You follow him and start to ask questions about his many inventions

This won his heart (whether he knew it or not)

Befriending Him:

At first, it's hesitant questions, long awkward silences, and clammy hands

But after awhile he gets used to your presence

Your questions often help him, letting him see a new perspective

He appreciates any of your input, but not without a little bit of sass

That little turn around he does (in the gif), you can't tell me he isn't sassy

You two will get into little sass battles, one comeback after another

This helps you two get closer

You mostly spend time in his lab, with the occasional accompanying him for new materials or things he needs

You bring him food and water, setting alarms for him to remember to eat and drink

Spinning in your office chair, you give him insane scenarios for him to entertain you with the logistics of it all

"Hey Donnie, what if I wanted a fire proof phone?"

"well you'd need to find a thin enough material that doesn't melt under high heats, a material such as steal, however you'd need to figure out how to combat the heaviness..."

And that's when he start getting comfortable ranting to you

He'll go on hour long rants about many things, allowing you to interrupt him to ask questions about what things mean and such

Donnie loves when you ask him these questions, he feels like, even though you don't understand him completely, you still try hard to take interest in him

First Date!

You probably have to ask him out,

You guys develop a situation ship sort of thing

And although he wants more, he doesn't want to ruin what you have

You end up asking Donnie "What are we"

And that's when poor Donnie's brain is racing a mile a minute

He starts stammering and doesn't know how to proceed, but eventually sighs and tells you how he feels

He's ecstatic when you tell him you feel the same!

Donnie stresses so much on dates ideas

Eventually, he decides he wants to take you out of the lair for once

You share your favorite foods with each other, both sickeningly sweet feeding eachother

He takes you for a ride in the shellraiser

You eventually get to a large field of pretty grass, noticing it's very far from the city

You give him a questioning look, but he just responds with "I wanted to make sure you knew this was special to me" while giving you a shy smile

You have a little picnic with Donnie, far from the city

He wanted you two to have a special moment without the bustling of the city or his brothers

Although you're both nervous, soon you start talking about anything that comes to mind

Soon Donnie starts to feed you, like the sickeningly sweet romantic he is

You're both giggling and talking in hushed voices

You end up cuddling and whispering sweet nothing's in each other's ears

Dating!

With Donnie you are never missing anything

He tries his best to make your life easier

You're clumsy and your phone keeps falling? He makes a practically indestructible phone case in your favorite color (he secretly hopes it's purple)

Your toast never comes out quite how you like it? He makes a toaster that makes your toast exactly how you like it (and maybe even a coffee maker that makes it ready to drink)

Donnie sometimes struggles with giving you the time outside the lab you (let's be honest, him too) need.

Sometimes you struggle to get him out of his lab, but with a little convincing (and kicked puppy eyes) he'll usually cave for awhile.

Usually taking you to go see museums at night "It's better without the crowd!"

And on your anniversaries, he takes you back to your first date

He can get a bit insecure about whether he's doing it right, all he has to base off of are movies and TV shows

It'll take a bit for him to touch you, but once you put his hand on your back/thigh/waist

He'll take it as a go ahead (always looks at you for approval tho)

Whenever he hugs or kisses you, you can feel just how much he loves you

He looks at you and slowly closes the distance

Donnie will sometimes ask you questions about your previous relationships, how they ended, and why

He just wants to prevent the same mistakes from happening, he really loves you, and wants you two to last for eternity <3

April gifted you the shirt as a gag gift, a white shirt with black writing that said "I <3 Nerds"

It had been sitting in the back of your closet, waiting for a good use for it. You were always teasing him, whether it was moving some of his things only a couple centimeters, or sitting in his lap while he's working.

You randomly remembered the shirt while getting dressed and thought, why not?, you didn't think you'd actually get a reaction from him.

So, you wore the t shirt and some comfy pants and went down to the lair.

You said hi to Mikey and Leo who were in the living room, and waved to Raph who was training, and made a beeline to the lab

When you opened the door and walked in, you noticed Donnie was standing and working on his jetpack. You walked over to him and tapped him on the shoulder

He turned to you, giving you his full attention, "Oh, hello dearest, I don't remember you notifying me of your visit?" "Sorry Don, it's just my schedule cleared up, so I thought I'd come see you!" Your happy grin made him relax a bit. "Well in that case, allow me to finish up here, and I will accompany you to the kitchen for some pizza" "aaaaaalrighty don" he quirked an eyebrow at your elongated word, a clear sign you were up to something

While he was working, he kept shooting you suspicious glances, almost as if to tell you to fess up what it was you were up to

But you stayed quiet, albeit, grinning like the Cheshire cat, but quiet. Once he finished, Donnie walked over to you, and gave you a hug, allowing his head to fall onto your shoulder.

"Doooooniiiieeeee" oh no he thought, what did you do... "Yes, my love" "Did you see my shirt?" He looked at you curiously, then looking down, reading it, taking a second to process it, and saying "Oh, *amused chuckle* well now, so you love Nerds, hm?" "It's what the shirt says" "hmph well, it's completely inaccurate"

You had seen Donnie jealous a couple times, he'd normally end up with his hand on your waist, and him telling you about all the amazing things he's done, but this was a feeling you couldn't quite place

Donnie grabbed your waist, hoisted you up onto his desk, standing between your legs. He reached over you, your face all too close to his plastron, grabbing a black permanent marker. He proceeded to scratch out the "Nerds" part of your shirt while saying "I am not a nerd, I am a genius, there is quite the difference dearest"

After scratching out "nerd" he wrote "My Genius, Donnie" on it , only in purple marker instead. And since he already had you here, he might as well take advantage.

You were blushing, definitely not thinking he'd react this way. Donnie closed the distance between you two. He kissed you until your lips were red and puffy, then started to trail kisses down your neck. Once he reached the base of your neck, he stopped, and he whispered "Do you want to be mine?" you were putty in his hands, too lost in how much affection he was giving you, you just nodded. He proceeded to leave little bite marks on your shoulder, and then licking and kissing them better.

Once your shoulder was covered in Donnie's bites, he pulled away, satisfied with his work. "I suggest we hurry if you still want pizza, surely Leo will have no issue finishing a box by himself, My Love" you were still a bit hazed from his onslaught, but followed anyway.

You will be getting more of these shirts for him to "correct"

Much to Donnie's dismay, you made him feel things

And the one he felt most often, was flustered. He didn't want to admit it

so you started to do things just to get him blushing

You'd come up and hold his hand whenever he was explaining his plans

You'd kiss him and complement him on his inventions

And even worse...

You'd come into the lab, and press your face as close as possible to his

While caressing his and looking up at him saying

"Come on My Love, let's go eat"

For all instances, he is blushing, eyes wide, and trying to look anywhere else

One time you tried to get him out of the lab by sitting on his lap (you two recently discussed your new/updated boundaries)

And the intelligent ninja Donnie stuttered

He looked absolutely adorable, struggling to find words

Ever since, he has taken to trying his best to compose himself

However, he always fails

And if you ever do any of these in public?

Oh boy

His brain is the Blue Screen, 404 error

Even his neck was red

You thought that it was first and new relationship nerves

But no

Even after a year of being together, and he still blushes when you complement, he still looks away bashfully when you hold his hand

However, beware

Because Donnie will try to tease you back

Emphasis on try

Because although you're blushing, he's blushing harder

One time he tried to straddle your lap and kiss you,

But he ended up kissing you only to hide his face in your shoulder

Overall, flustered Donnie is the best

He'll occasionally get Confidence bursts

But Donnie will quickly change right back to his blushy, flustered self
