Book Talk 11.0~ Blown to Bits
?? I have no idea who the authors are. Technically it isn’t really a book I’d say “spoilers” for so… Uhm.
I know I stopped in the middle of Percy Jackson, but I started school and had/ have no time to read. I’m gonna promise to finish the third book by… Monday. I’ll do book posts again, and try to keep up with posting. Honestly, I’ve been putting more effort into my shared art blog with @sunbell. (Questian)
So, I’m reading this book for my computer sciences class. It’s pretty interesting, not really a book you’d read for enjoyment. It talks about how our world is pretty technology consumed right now. It also goes into detail about the bits that make up all the information online and on devices. Everything is made up of bits! Emails, voice calls, texts, everything is made up of the same stuffs!
This post is more of a book review than a talk… But that’s ok. (On a totally unrelated note, I learned how to calculate binary, hexadecimals, and octals!)
So… Yeah. Bits! Bits and bytes whatever the difference is. Apparently in (London?? I forgot where… Heh) there is one surveillance camera for every twelve people! That’s a lot. I’m starting to wonder just what IS private online in this world. I mean, you can practically learn about a person’s whole life by just visiting their social medias! (Luckily I don’t have those, only this.)
Yeah… Sorry for the weird order of my book posts. I’m gonna try to keep them coming. Anyways…
Take a byte out of cake for me! 🎂 (I’m extremely sorry for that ><)
This Andrew Schoultz painting sure makes me feel small. His solo exhibition titled "Blown to Bits" is a must see show for you SF residents. Check it out at Hosfelt Gallery, 260 Utah #andrewschoultz #hosfeltgallery #sf #blowntobits
