Leon entered their shared apartment, wasting little time discarding his shoes by the designated rack and his keys on a nearby table. Since Niamh had sent him those pictures nearly two hours ago, he had been counting the minutes to get home. Time had ticked by agonizingly slow, as though to torture him even further.
The minx knew exactly what she was aiming for when she texted him those alluring pictures. Purposefully teasing him while he could do nothing but wait it out and mentally groan at his inability to showcase his appreciation for his wife and that beautiful body of hers. But now? Now he could finally act on his desires.
He found her in the living room, looking all innocent as she greeted him, that lacy see-through dress that made his brain short-circuit earlier still adorning her frame. Lord, have mercy.
Drinking in the sight of her, he returned her greeting and approached her. The man bent just enough to bestow a quick peck to her lips before effortlessly lifting her from the couch and settling her into his arms, bridal style.
"Did you enjoy it, dove? Tormenting me so cruelly like that?" He queried, holding her gaze. "I believe it's only fair I return the favor." A smirk painted his visage, his tone promising a long night ahead. With that, he carried her to their bedroom, kicking the door shut behind them.
The dress had been an impulse purchase. It wasn't like the things she normally liked to wear, but it had looked cute on the website, so she decided why not? and bought it.
It didn't come with a slip and was very see through. Much more than she had realized. Still, she tried it on, and even though it didn't leave much to the imagination, it was cute. She knew Leon would think so, too. She couldn't wait to show him. Then again...why wait?
She knew taking those selfies and sending them to him while he was at work as a little mean. Just a little. But she couldn't help teasing her husband sometimes.
When she heard the thud of his shoes by the door and the clang of his keys on the table, she had to bite her lip to keep from laughing. It finally escaped when he scooped her up into his arms.
"You loved it," she answered sweetly, giving him a cheeky grin. She could pretend to be innocent, but she had known exactly what she was doing when she sent those pictures.
She didn't have one single regret.
