After receiving some advice from a fellow translator some months ago, I decided to begin the process of transferring all of my translations to a Wordpress site. This will be a lengthy project though, because many of the translations on this blog were poorly done and are in desperate need of revisions. I will be posting one updated song a day, just as I did with this project back in 2011, and then I will replace this Tumblr with a redirect link, effectively shutting down this blog. To those of you who even still follow BPD, thank you, and I hope you will help me build a more accessible archive. -bloom

Ah, I was actually just thinking that I’ll return to working on translations at the start of August. Most likely I will begin with Twitter (follow @pla_translate), but I’ll try to get back to posting news every week. And eventually interviews and the rest of Aomushi Drop.In the meantime, anyone who wants to help me create a cleaner, more user-friendly blog theme is welcome to message me.

Unrelated to Plastic Tree, but Bloom is about to take a trip to spend 5 months in Denmark. It's hard to say at the moment if translations will be affected, but I will not be undertaking any new interviews or projects until then. So a fair number of you said that you would be interested, which is great! I just need to set the date and time. Would it be easier for everyone if I began the party at 9 PM CDST (02:00 GMT) on October 30th/31st? I can go earlier if needed. However, this would be Thursday for most people. Or should I hold it ON Halloween at 8-ish PM CDST (01:00 GMT - Nov 1st)? Which is the best for all of you? And if you need me to adjust the start time, I can do that. I plan to have it go on for as long as I'm awake though, so anyone can pop in and say hello.

This is a tentative idea and will depend largely on who is interested and how to work it out. I know that many of you either do not celebrate Halloween in your country, or, if you do, may not have something fun planned for that day. So I was thinking about hosting a video event, most likely on Tinychat, where, if you so choose, you can dress up in a costume and chat via webcam. Or you can simply hang out in the chatroom part (since I know many of you are also shy). Tinychat also offers the ability to play videos through it, I believe, so we can watch Plastic Tree videos if requested. However, I also know that Tinychat poses a problem for a lot of people, so if you know of any alternative open video chatrooms (other than Google Hangout), please let me know! If this event happens, I plan to keep the chat open over a long range of time, so that kurage from all over can join in. Please tell me if you're interested!
