Escape room hcs for the bloomic LI’s + more characters
(I think Robo wrote abt this on their blog but imma build off of it)
-Toast wouldn’t be the best communicator, especially in a big group with everyone else talking. Someone would see them with a key and be like: how’d you get that?
“I got it earlier while you guys were talking.”
-Quest would be the one helping Toast, and trying to round everyone up.
-June would be holding the clues for the next room, coming up with a few ideas here and there, nightowl following and just helping whenever they can.
-nightowl also is the one person everyone relies on for the math puzzles, along with onion.
(The boyfriends argue lol)
“No, you’ve got to-“
“Done.” Owl cheekily grins.
-xyx is one of the only people that pays attention toast when they solve something,
And also:
-xyx is making jokes abt the setting and gets into character. You’re in a prison break one? He complains about his no chance of parole. You’re in a classroom themed one? He asks for help on his abcs before throwing an alphabet block.
To you (and your daughter’s dismay), your fiancé was busy with preparations for the capitol’s reconstruction.
Quest was highly aware of the fact that public amenities for his loyal subjects were falling apart, and he planned to fix it. The market’s stalls were falling apart, and they struggled making sales? That would make food less accessible for other citizens, so he had to plan for a pavilion hosting the marketplace- although that was one of many issues.
You sighed once you saw one of his loyal architects on the job, nightowl, power walk through the halls to the Royal conference room.
“Owl, is he ok?”
He turned up to you, as you were upstairs and he was below. “.. I think so, check on him later though. He’s brushing it off with us..” his voice drawled out, as he continued walking.
That definitely didn’t help to console your worries.
Your child started to whine, pulling at the cloth of your shirt. “Shh, honey shh..” you got used to parenting, after awhile. Quest was nervous himself, but you both learnt how to make it work.
“I’m worried too.. let’s bring him lunch today then.” You brought a finger up to your child’s cheek, making her giggle. “Cutest princess ever.”
…
“I’d like to see his highness.” You stated, holding a picnic basket in one arm and your daughter in the other. The guard standing in front of the door nodded, before stating your arrival to all individuals inside.
Quest sat at the head of a long, meticulously crafted wooden table. His intricate jacket lay on the back of his chair, eyes darting around the papers intently before his gaze landed upon you two.
He immediately softened, smile lifting his face. “Hi Angel, and little Angel.”
“I thought you needed lunch, you’ve been working hard.” When you and Quest became better acquainted, you both often enjoyed picnics and strolls throughout the gorgeous gardens of the palace. Nowadays, carrying a picnic basket seemed so informal yet comforting to the two of you.
“I appreciate it. May I?” He gestures over to your daughter. You nod and carefully hand her over to him.
She grabs for his nose, giggling. “Uh uh! You can’t take that, daddy needs his nose. But.. maybe he’ll take yours!” He chuckled, kissing her forehead.
