i've been chewing on this thought for a few days but... lesbianism without men. like. ok sure.but like let me ask- Where are you drawing the line on what a man is? it's really easy to say 'oh people take issue with this statement because everybody hates lesbians- oh it's because we live our lives without men and nobody can stand it' but like. i really want to ask, is that the issue here? or are you maybe not thinking about how fucking blurry the line gets for butches? for trans people? for anyone? on what is a male experience?? ... like i don't care what people think when i say im a bi lesbian. i feel 100% confident that anyone who will shit on me before listening to my experience isn't someone whose opinion matters at all to me. but not everyone is in that place so i REALLY need to ask. are you THINKING about who you are alienating from your community by saying these things?? the instinct to defend oneself from a perceived attacker is human, but who are you talking to? is this an attacker? or are you feeling threatened, and attacking people you have a communal obligation to make room for in this space? how are YOU defining a man when you say that. i guarantee you have met a lesbian man in some color or shade and i hope to god for my brothers' sake that when you did, YOU didn't say anything that makes that person feel like they have less right to their time on this earth.
