"Saying you hate all men is bad"

but also

"Men as a group/class are statistically more likely to commit violent/sexual crime"

both being true with the goal of trying to say

"Generalizing harm originating from a group hurts good people in the group, makes excuses for the bad people, and does nothing to help people suffering from this harm and we need to focus on making the harm being done properly punished and protecting the victims"

But by god every time I try and find resources on this its nothing but radfems/radqueers and general man hate and I don't have the time nor spoons to sort through all of that slop

painter and sebastian's voice actors both quit, every single asset for the game was leaked. pressure isn't coming back from this and honestly I'm really glad and proud of the community for not hesitating to rip it to shreds

This whole Tyler Catastrophe situation is fucked but we need to make sure we concentrate on the important things so he doesn’t just become another lost opportunity for someone to be better

Okay to judge

- parasocial relationship

- denying abuse allegations which Wilbur admitted to

- the way he is trying to spread lies about the whole Stuart Semple thing

- claiming to be 2-Spirit without any acknowledged ties to indigenous heritage

- his lack of accountability and propensity to lie about things

- attempting to distance himself from his whiteness by milking being supposedly Portuguese (meanwhile claiming to be related to famous white british people lol)

Dependant

- his art and being OVERLY rude about it. I personally don’t like it and don’t understand the pricing but if all of that is what he wants to do, then sure, it’ll only really affect him in the end

- any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism seems pretty valid as to how he’s deciding to run his business or sell his necklaces (ie wearing them in “thirst traps” to sell them) but don’t conflate that with just insulting him looks wise

Disrespectful:

- anything about his gender identity

- the Jolene jokes were funny for a bit, as he himself was the person peddling the idea, but maybe try not to make that so big as it does tiptoe the boundaries of sometimes being a tiny bit weird considering he is trans and is almost adjacent to dead naming

- dogging on his looks and making rude caricatures of him is unnecessary

- the whole Antarctica thing is silly but insulting him about it seems kinda boring in comparison to the bigger issues

In light of recent events surrounding Wilbur’s actions towards Shelby, not only have his former discord mods abandoned his channel as well as all (if not most of) his twitch mods quitting, the former Wilbur soot subreddit is now dedicated to Wilbur Wright, the inventor of the plane.

Let me introduce you to this beautiful artwork, what a way to memorise such a glorious inventor.

Likely case is that the subreddit will soon be archived in the next couple of days or weeks to prevent it from becoming lost media in the future.

To add on, Wilbur has been hands off with his moderation and community for years, leaving many things up to his staff. With the permissions they have, if his mods wanted to and if he ever dared to stream again, they could overthrow him and prevent his chat from being properly moderated. So as you can imagine, and rightly so, they’ve revolted too.
