He’d been drafted.
The letter had come in the post the previous morning, and he’d spent this morning at the enlistment centre. He hadn’t told Steve. Better, he thought, that Steve thought he’d enlisted willingly, because lord knows Steve wanted to enlist, no matter how much Bucky tried to talk him out of it. But now his time was up, and he’d be heading out for basic training soon, and then off to war, and the thought made him sick.
Which was how he found himself sitting in the kitchen, staring at the enlistment form blankly.
(takes place in Wakanda before Infinity War)Liz smiled as she watched Bucky work in the fields.No words could describe the happiness she felt at knowing HYDRA's brainwashing was gone from his mind. He was finally free.He was working so hard in the hot sun, she wanted to make sure he was taking care of himself, so she sauntered out to him with a bottle of cold water in hand."You look like you're working pretty hard. I thought you could use this." She smiled softly as she handed the bottle to him.
Bucky awoke and was told that if he underwent a small procedure that the programming in his brain could be removed, at first he was a little hesitant to have someone else rooting around in his brain, but it meant he could have a normal life he agreed. After a few hours of work he was taken to a hut that was to be his own and Liz’s, when he finally awoke he felt lighter, freer, it was a success. He now spent his days living in the hut with Liz and working in the fields to help the farmers farm the land, it was a simple life, something he sorely needed after everything he had been through and it was a nice way for Liz to keep up with him.
He was working on the field with the hoe in his only hand and was trying to plow the field and get it ready to plan again, it was a hot day and he was drenched in sweat. He saw Liz coming over, and he put the hoe down and faced her, “Thank you.” He breathed to her as he took the glass from her and took a long gulp of the water.

It was in the middle of night when Bucky arrived on Liz’s doorstep but Bucky was too dazed to notice. She only had one thing on her mind and only one person was going to be able to help. Bucky knocked on the door and waited, shifting her weight from one foot to the another nervously.
Images of broken memories and fractured nightmares swarmed in her mind. She squeezed her eyes shut and smacked the heels of her palms against her temples in an effort to make the haunting images leave her alone. She knocked on Liz’s door again. “Please, Lizzie, please be in.”
Sam Wilson had been away on a mission for a month.Liz tried her best to keep her mind on anything but how much she missed him.Eventually,it all caught up with her, & she needed a way to release the pent up tension.Finally,one night,lying in bed,she slipped her hand down her panties,touching herself in all the places she wished Sam was touching her.What she didn't know was he was coming home that day.When he walked in on her,she hurriedly covered herself,her cheeks turning bright red."Sam...I..."
This last mission that Sam was on was taking longer than anyone expected, though luckily it wasn’t a case where it was more dangerous, just their objective was evasive and hard to find and accomplish. Finally they had a breakthrough and were able to wrap it up quickly meaning that he could come back home sooner than he thought he was, he came home and thought it would be a fun idea to surprise his girlfriend. He came to their quarters that they shared and walked through the door and found Liz on the bed touching herself, he just smiled and leaned against the door frame and watched her. When she noticed him his smile grew larger, “Hey you… Got the party started a little early didn’t you?” He said teasing her lightly.
