Here, little comparison between the Halo CE blind wolves subspecies (at the top) and the current 343 ones (at the bottom) I sketched weeks ago.
Also fun fact:
I'm pretty sure 343 took inspiration from specifically the Jurassic Park TLW male velociraptor design, this older model even straight up had a pseudo-talon and the anatomy looks overall very similar.
