as always, i also do copy editing/proofreading (can provide credentials if interested) and will do so on the cheap if you have an essay or something that needs another eye. i might also be able to do some beta reading for tips (SPAG and general continuity only if i’m unfamiliar with the fandom). A week ago, our beloved cat Azuma passed away suddenly. He had a seizure from tainted cat food (it was Pure Harmony brand, and I’ve reported it to the FDA). The other cats were beginning to get sick too, and I had to throw out the cat food and buy a new bag. I still can’t think about this without crying; he meant everything to me.

On top of that, @rumpelstiltskinix​ has an abscessed tooth, and we’re going to need gas money to get to the dentist, which is about an hour away.

I also have a bad UTI and need to be drinking cranberry juice, but we don’t really even have enough money for food.

If anyone can help us out, it would be much appreciated.

My partner is developing lung problems because our back room is a health hazard. A leaky pipe is dripping water into it, and it’s also filthy and needs a deep cleaning. It was used as a trash room before we moved in, and we also kept our chickens in there for a while to keep them safe because our stalker kicked holes in the coop, until I was able (using that term loosely) to repair the coop. (I ended up in the ER that day.)

We can’t afford a plumber, and neither of us is physically able enough to clean it out. My partner has been basically confined to one room for years following an accident, and my health has been steadily declining this year and I am now barely able to get out of bed most of the time.

Our lives would be greatly improved if we could hire someone to fix the pipe and clean out the room. I’ll update this post if I can get a plumbing estimate. Cleaning services around here run about $25 an hour.

I was denied SSDI a second time this spring, and one of the big disability law firms in the area recently took on my case. I expect my hearing to be in the winter. Before then, I’m going to have to pay them a $100 fee to access my medical records.

If anyone can help me out with that, I would greatly appreciate it. My partner and I don’t even have enough money for two meals a day; we don’t have anything to spare.

Our next quarterly water bill is due November 30. It’s $275. We will not be able to pay it without help. Late fees will accumulate if we don’t pay it on time, and then in April it will be added to our house’s property tax bill.

We’re already behind on our bills ($148 behind on electric, with a payment agreement; $76 behind on trash; $70 behind on internet). 

We have had to spend a lot of money on construction materials to rebuild the chicken coop after our stalker kicked and punched a lot of holes in it. The chickens are currently living inside the house. On top of that, it has become increasingly expensive to eat as we’ve figured out more of @rumpelstiltskinix‘s food allergies and sensitivities.

We are two people living on one person’s SSI. I will be reapplying for SSDI this week, but I have no idea how long it will be before they make a decision, or whether I will win.

Anything helps. We need a lot of help to get out of the hole we’re in.
