I won’t go into full detail about what happened but long story short, the pixl that lost its life helping destroy the Pixl Queen had two separate designs in mind: a butterfly, or a bat. You can probably guess from that alone which decision caused this AU to happen, next to the whole “Super Dimentio destroying the universe” ordeal of course. I mean considering what little we're given on the Pixl Queen story and the other pixls involved the pixl that died to the PQ could have had 20 different possible designs, but we don't know that.
