DAY AFTER OKTOBERFEST
Some photos taken at the Theresienwiese in Munich the day after the famous Oktoberfest.
All shots taken with a Mamiya Universal camera with a Polaroid back loaded with Fujifilm FP-100c. Negatives bleached with chlorine and the washed and dried. Scanned as a negative using an Epson Perfection V700.

3. (alt.1) Clean the negative properly (by mmartinsson) The negative is covered in dried developer fluid (goop) which should be washed off before starting the process. I use cold water (or medium warm) and then gently rub the goop off with my fingers. Be careful not to scratch the negative with you fingers or rub too hard since it will make the photo disappear (unless you want that esthetic look…). Washing it with water that is too warm will also wash the photo off so be careful. If it is cleared carefully you will get a negative that is very sharp and with lots of details.

17. Final inspection. (by mmartinsson)
So, now it is finished. I make a final inspection to make sure all of the black paint on the back is gone. Then I dry the negative in an upright position to make sure no dust falls on the surface while drying.
It will be completely dry within the hour so just warm up your backlit scanner and scan it as a normal negative.
