[blazingemt] “We just start over on a new page.” His answer was simple as he began picking the board up. “My name is Raymond, I was a field medic during ishval. Currently I’m in Southern Command as a medic again. Not much happens. So I’m looking to do something else.”
Greed twitched. Ray may not be a soldier, but he was still affiliated with the military. And Greed didn’t like the military.
“So you’d rather join my band instead? You realize that’s awfully suspicious comin’ from someone with the military, right? I did catch you checkin’ out our stuff.”
[blazingemt] “if I win, we start off on a new page.” Raymond’s terms were simple enough. “Forget about the little incident that started.” He shrugged his shoulders as he picked the dice up and gave them a roll. A five. Moving his token to its indicated spot, he landed on one of the railroads. “I’m buying it. 250.” With that being said, the medic pulled the amount out of his pile of money. “Your turn.”
Greed started playing with a fair amount of confidence, but that confidence gradually wavered until his loss was set in stone. His eyes were full of disbelief and only barely contained his anger. Ray had told him to forget about their first meeting, but that was no easy feat. Greed still had no idea what he even wanted from him, and even if his intentions were without malice, the guy was acting overly familiar in a way that made his teeth clench.
... however, no one could claim Greed was not a man of his word.
“... fine. You win. Now what do you want from me?”
