The fact that FInn was here made this all a little better really. Not that she was scared or anything! Obviously not, she doesn’t get scared, no siree. But it was a little worrying being suddenly snatched away from most of her friends. Having her trusty steed/companion/bed with her did a lot to help her anxiety.

She was riding on the dogs back, not really heading anywhere in particular as she tried to mull over what had happened. Suddenly, Finn picked up his pace and started bounding down the street,

“Whoa- wait! Where’s the fire dude, calm down!”

But calm down he did not. The dog barrelled right up to a woman and then started sniffing around her legs.

“Oh, wow, sorry- he’s not usually like this...” Wow, what a pretty giant.

Wait...

Gehenna.

She had no idea what it meant but she supposed that didn’t really matter. It was... A place. Not exactly her style so to speak, but almost nowhere in this city was. It was pleasant enough, and the volume was far less oppressive than Victor’s place, and the scents were more manageable.

Well, they were. 

She distinctly remembered Jill saying there was a strict no dogs policy here, yet she could very clearly smell dog. It came from the person with the fluffy tail, staff by the look of her outfit. Crow was staring at her, she knew she shouldn’t but she couldn’t really help herself. Looking at her filled her with a strange sort of anxiety, but not having her in her sight made her feel worse. 

She was not being subtle about it, and when she was noticed she simply said;

Her phone had been on her desk at home so she’d noticed the notification instantly. Ah, it was from Noa... Who hse hadn’t spoken to since she’d pushed the Arcanine to yell at her.

Uh... She was honestly not sure how she was supposed to take this. Was she asking her that? Was this her being sarcastic? Annoyed Gwinifer hadn’t apologised yet?

Well, it was starting to make sense now. That woman, really... Gwinifer couldn’t help but smile. What should she do here, especially when she thought she was the one who should apologise to Noa. If she just text her back now, Noa would realise straight away that she’d been texting her instead of using a search engine. Probably...

After an extremely large and dramatic inhale and exhale of breath, she decided to just call her.

“Hey, Noa... It’s Gwinifer...”

“Hey... you, uh, good there?” It’d just started to rain, and I couldn’t help but notice this one lady seemed to take it pretty rough. I mean, I could hardly blame her- nobody liked getting rained on. But was it really that bad? 

  This lady looks so cool.

  Normal human features aside, the ears and the tail are another tier on the list of stuff he finds neat too. There’s been enough strange instances in his life and since arriving here that he’s simply grown unfazed by seeing animalistic parts on others.

  He’s staring, isn’t he?

  Thoroughly embarrassed at the idea of being seen acting like a creep, Joe turns away and does his best to appear distracted. I’m sorry I kept staring, miss!!! I just thought you looked real cool-- no, wait, that’s still weird and-- ugh.
