Blavet: Concerto à quatre
僕が最も好きなバロック作曲家の一人のミシェル・ブラヴェ（Michel Blavet）。パリに生まれた彼はフルートの名手として、コンセール・スピリチュエルという楽団で30年にわたって活躍されたそうです。あのテレマンやクヴァンツ（18世紀を代表するドイツのフルート奏者・作曲家）も絶賛したという彼の腕前はさぞかし素晴らしいものだったのでしょう。
その彼が作曲したこのフルート協奏曲には技巧的なパッセージが散見できます。特に1・3楽章の終盤にあるフルートのカデンツァ（平たく言うと、他のパートに邪魔されることなく自由に演奏できる、即興的なフレーズのこと）は注目に値します。この見せ場を（ただ単に演奏するだけでなく）見せ場として機能させるにはそれなりの技術が必要だと思いますが、逆説的に彼の演奏者としての技量を裏付けているとも言えるでしょう。
