Alright one last Blanksfeb post before the month’s over.

At a young age Cathryn had to be strong. Her mother went to jail for manslaughter of her father. Cathryn ended up moving in with her childhood friend Rex Campbell and his parents. When Cathryn grew up she still hadn’t forgiven her mother, she moved out of the Campbell’s place as soon as she graduated high school to go to college. She changed her name (to Kate) to keep her mother from finding her.

After about a decade, her mother got powers from the Blanksford Beacon, escaped from jail, and became Pyress. Kate was scared and transferred out of Blanksford to another college, where she met Annie. Kate and Annie became great friends and when Kate graduated and needed an apartment, Annie stepped up and became her roommate. A few more years passed and Kate was doing fine on her own, but then her mother was next to be lethally overloaded. Kate went back to Blanksford to reach out, she wasn’t entirely sure it was the right move but this might be her last chance to she her mother.

They finally found each other and Kate got her powers, overloading her mother at the same time. Kate has the power to transfer physicality of another person to herself or vice versa but when she reverts back any changes to the copied body will go back to the original. (So if she copied the form of someone else she would appear to be them but if she got cut then when she reverts to herself the person she copied would get cut in the same way.)

Kate’s incidence allowed her to be with her mother for a bit longer but when it passed so did her mother.

The Year 5 super has the powers to non-lethally overload other supers. This means they lose their powers forever. Normally if there are more than 7 supers at one time the super who has had their powers the longest is lethally overloaded so the Year 5 super has a lot of responsibility.

While she’s no super, Madi V. is a super great artist. She originally lived in Blanksford, where she was Arrietty’s (Aeri) only friend. Madi stayed in Blanksford to try and get some powers of her own. While she waited she go a tattoo apprenticeship at “Son of a Prick” in D-City. Ghost stopped by during her apprenticeship and got a tattoo from her. After a few years she never got her powers and her tattoo apprenticeship finished. Next she was looking to move to D-City so she could be close to her work. When Taylor got her powers she used them to find Madi and get a tattoo. During the tattoo session, they hit it off and eventually moved in together. Since Taylor wasn’t really keen on using her powers a lot, their friendship was normal for the most part. Madi continued tattooing, and offered free tattoos to supers if they wanted.

The best part about doing this month’s theme is that if I don’t have any content ready I can just post some details about the Blanksford stuff and everything’s still fine.

The year 1 super, Ultra-Dude, is the uncle to the year 9 super, Drake. When Ultra-Dude got overloaded Drake got super mad and blamed Blank for it. The ended up fighting and Drake over-exerted himself very much, and because his powers are related to his blood, he died in the fight due to loss of blood. Blank takes Drake’s sentiment to heart and continues to try so that nothing like that has to happen again.

Since all the Blanksford Project stuff happens a bit into the future a lot of the jobs are automated and almost everything is optimized. This causes all the restaurants to be very close together that way they can receive their various shipments and stuff really quickly and not have to worry about any of that.

Since the restaurants aren’t competing with each other they all share a really big dining room that acts as like a local hub for people to hang out since they offer the majority of the city’s food options.

Gabby’s the first character I made for the Blanksford Project. I was just going to do just the line work in pen but it didn’t really add much so I went ahead and colored it in as well.

Gabby’s got teleportation powers. While they can’t exactly see where they’re going while teleporting, they have minor awareness of their new surroundings that way they don’t crash into anything.
