He didn’t actually do the whole dating thing, not usually at least, but Blaise supposed exceptions could be made, especially when the girl he was meeting was actually fun to talk to. He was used to doing the whole one night stand thing, falling into bed with a hot girl that he knew would find her way out of it without question the next day, so actually making the effort to take a woman out was a new experience for him.
So far it wasn’t going horribly though, so that was a good sign. He’d picked her up at her place and driven a bit out of the way to this restaurant he’d heard of that had awesome food and showed movies on the side of the building so people could sit on blankets and just chill in the grass while they ate. It seemed different than any of the options directly inside Dayton, so he’d gone for that in hopes of making a good first impression. Or second impression. Whatever. At least this time he hadn’t almost knocked her on her ass.
“I don’t even know what movie they have on but I liked the idea of not being stuck inside some stuffy restaurant making awkward conversation,” he admitted as he setup the giant blanket he’d had the foresight to pack and plopped down on it, gesturing for Beth to join him.
