When his father had work that day, Cameron found it rather easy to take the keys from his pocket that belonged to Adam’s guest house. The blond had bounded over there and opened the door before sliding in. He was pretty certain that no one had seen him go in and was sure that Tyra would know where to find him. They had been dating for a few months now, secretly, they still hadn’t exactly told his mother about them being an item.

Things had been going well too – he had just started college, which was something that he was a little fearful about, but he was also excited. It meant less time with Tyra, so the more time they spent together the better. Moving his hand to the remote control he pressed the television on using the button. His blue eyes skimmed the many programmes on until settling for a game show. Cameron probably had seen this episode before though.

If you had asked Lorina eight years ago what she thought she would be doing that very day, it wouldn’t have been celebrating her daughter’s seventh birthday. Lorina had just turned fifty; so it was really something she hadn’t expected – to have a seven year old, but she loved Fiona like she worshipped the ground she walked on.

“Mummy, mummy-“ She turned her head and glanced down at the small blonde who was pulling on her sleeve. She knew that it was difficult on Fiona – after all it seemed Zachary wouldn’t be able to make it home from work to help celebrate their little one’s birthday. She was thankful that he would be retiring soon and they could just spend every day with her. “Can we open presents now?”

“No, Fifi.” She whispered as she moved down and kissed the top of her head. “You know that we have to wait for the others so that they can watch you open them.” They had to wait for the rest of her children. Adam, Josie, the twins and Cameron. Of course her eldest daughter Margaret would be here too with her fiancé Daniel – and their little baby who was already two months old. Lorina could barely believe it, she was a grandmother. They also had to wait and see if Pascal would turn up to help celebrate, but she also understood if he couldn’t make it until later. Then there was also Tyra, but she had a feeling she wouldn't forget either.

Lorina moved to pick Fiona up as she carried her over to the sofa and sat down with her youngest in her lap. “Should we watch a movie until they get here?” She brushed her nose into her neck before smiling. “I think so, right?”

She pursed her lips a little. “That’s a little worrying.” Margaret was close to having said yes once or twice – but her determination to stay in her rank and with Mayumi had stopped her. She shook those thoughts away from her mind, running her hand over her large bump.

Really, the only thing I can see discouraging Dan from moving in is if he knocks you up again and Mum finds out. The blonde laughed as she glanced down at her bump. “I really don’t know if I intend on getting pregnant again.” This pregnancy was such a surprise – and she had hid it from her parents for so long she was surprised she was never kicked out. “Let’s just take it one baby at a time, thank you.”

The blonde paid her close friend attention. I’ve been alright. Just been doing a few missions here and there but nothing big. Iomhar and I are just waiting for the next one to be given to us. “Just you two count your blessings that you have some time between them.” She knew that they had a harder job than Maggie had as an agent – and she didn’t loathe them or was jealous of them.

She had already turned down many opportunities to become a hunter because of her abilities but denied. She wanted to become the best agent she could – just like her father. That was her goal and why she joined the W.M.F… that and her parents had to send her there extra early to control her abilities.

The blonde turned her head and was soon confronted with a familiar face. Instantly Maggie’s face brightened as she moved her arms forward and embraced Tyra the best that she could with the large bump that was in the way.

“Hello there, Fido.” She grinned as she pulled away and looked up at her. “Sorry that was so awkward.” Maggie spoke, pointing down to the baby bump. “Little one keeps getting in the way.” Or kicking for attention… she knew that she was due in under three weeks; and she was actually quite scared… so seeing Tyra right now was wonderful.

"I wanted to repay you for feeding Hot-Shot. I also wanted to try my hand at making something like this."

"I hope you like it."

"How did you know I waned cake?"
