So. I did it, I got myself more fish. Jacob and Ladder. Anyway, story time. The other week we splurged and bought a 130 litre tank with the intention of finally getting a school or two. But today we went looking for pet food at the local pet shop, and I saw two Moors that were missing an eye each. Having an empty tank, and knowing they'd need a heap of care, I caved in and bought them both. Figured if the worst is to happen, I tried. Thankfully the guy in the store was understanding with my concern. And even he agreed no one would want them, so he sold them both for the price of one. Hopefully they'll live long and happy lives.
