This month I’m doing outfit prompts from my favorite brand, Black Milk. Today’s prompt was “Sea You There,” to which I added “at the Met Gala.”

This year’s Met Gala theme was “Costume Art” with the dress code of “Fashion Is Art” which seemed to be about the body?

We took the pics at the downtown post office and then I liked my outfit so much I really wished I had a party to go to.

Very happy with these outfits. I remember I rationalized buying the black dress for an American Gothic costume (2020). I mean it was underneath an apron, so I could’ve totally figured out an approximation of a black top/white collar, but so glad I have it now!
