The Story

Blackhell’s is not all fun and games in 1899, and your character along with the other Newsies have been thrown into either wrongly accused, because of "queer" nature, or of other ridiculous and outrageous things. Leave nothing to the creative mind unspoken. 

Within the asylum, not everything is in place to help the patients either. No. Some… practices are extremely cruel by our standards. Harmful punishments amongst other emotionally damaging ordeals. The worst saved for the most “insane” of them all. 

Meals are about the only times that the “sane” get to see others, unless of course they sneak out at bedtime or during social hours. Other than that, complete lockdown. It’s a shame no one has regard for any rules ;). 

Amongst those wrongly accused, the Newsies thrive. Though, within the brick confines, they are known as troublesome creatures. Resisting treatment, generally being loud and obnoxious- it earns their fair share of punishment.
