hebel has to be careful around ezeqeel when he's sick.
not because ezeqeel is fragile, but because hebel is. everyone and everything that isn't quote un quote "blessed" by ezeqeel will have a higher chance if decomposing if touched by sick ezeqeel. it doesn't matter how strong or how much protection you have, decay and rot is wayyy more powerful and persistent than any deity, and to hebel no less. everything is the same to fungi.
hebel prefers keeping a couple feet away from ezeqeel if he has a minor illness (a cold, itchy throat, etc.). he'll hold ezeqeel if he wants it, but it takes more energy as, despite him rotting a lot slower than other things, he still needs stuff to replenish the flesh that's decomposing.
but if ezeqeel is real sick (real bad flu, stomach bug, etc.) hebel will not be anywhere around him unless a glass wall is between them or unless its completely necessary (by completely necessary moreso ezeqeel is in a lot of pain and doesn't wanna see him so upset).

kafziel and hebel are those two guys who have friends for so long that you're like "yeah they're probably close friends by now" then one of them like does something a little romantic and now you're like "maybe they're dating but im not too sure".
blackflesh is kinda slow burn but they just randomly agree that they're dating after like 14 years of being friends and three years of dating
like on the couch watching some cheesy horror movie and kafziel looking at hebel and asking "do you think we're dating?"
and hebels just like "yeah". and they continue watching the movie without moving or digging deeper into that.
