this is actually a really difficult question for me, lol – there are a lot of deities that I feel a strong connection with. I like to think of deities in terms of what they represent to their worshippers rather than just as cool mythological figures, because whether I personally believe in them or not, they have a spiritual significance to someone somewhere and I try to be careful to respect that.

in general, I feel a stronger connection to female deities than male. a few months ago I would have said that freyja (norse goddess of sorcery, war, love, and death) was my favorite goddess, no brainer, but I’ve been feeling less connected to her lately?? I’ve recently been learning more about celtic mythology, and I feel really drawn to brigid (goddess of fire, poetry, fertility, and healing). something about her just really speaks to me, idk. 

the god I feel the strongest connection to is probably odin (norse god of magic, knowledge, war, and kings). I also really like anubis (egyptian god of embalming who guided souls into the afterlife), but that’s more of an “I think he’s cool” thing than anything, because I don’t actually know much about him or his worship beyond the basics. 

I am!! ❤️✨ I know that people have brought up concerns about plot elements differing from the comics, and from the other Spider-Man movies, but I am just happy to have another Spider-Man movie in live action. There is little that I love more than watching his acrobatics in real time.

As for the story changes they’re making, my stance is that they have to at least try to tell a new story even though we’re stuck with another high school aged Peter Parker. (High school teacher Peter Parker is my favorite Peter Parker in the comics.)

Spider-Man is my #1 favorite character of all time, even though my interest sort of sat on the back burner for a few years, so I’m happy for anything that brings him back onto the big screen and into current events. (And also: merchandise everywhere.)

Superman is the best Rebirth title I’ve been reading in my opinion. I’ve been reading Titans, Teen Titans, Red Hood and the Outlaws, Super Sons, and Nightwing too.  I’ve read parts of Detective Comics and Action Comics.
