Fitting In Is LAME
One thing I donât like about myself- IF I had to name one is my wild eyebrows (when theyâre not threaded). And though this is something I can confidently put out there, itâs an ongoing insecurity of mine. But it also is one of the features that makes me look like me.
At the end of the day, we all have insecurities...unfortunately. But itâs real. And its life. We spend so much time on our phones (Iâm guilty of this) to the point that we get to comparing and contrasting our lives to the lives of others without even realizing it.
Understand that you are the prototype.
There will never be another you. People can imitate, people can study you and wear similar fashions like the next- BUT- that still doesnât make them you. Or you them.
Thatâs powerful.
Growing up there were times I tried my HARDEST to fit in annnnnd, I still stuck out like a sore thumb more likely than not. It was torture to really sit up there and worry about others opinion of me. Worrying about how I dressed, talked, walked- my anxiety would tell me when to stop doing all that unnecessary shit to please people that probably didnât even ride for me for real. I learned fairly young, that it was okay to be me.
Ionâ know...I just feel like when you can be you- you stand out off the gate. Cause I know two things.
1.) When someone is being genuine.
2.) When someone is not.
And donât get me wrong, Iâm not trying to talk down on NOBODY. I simply donât have the room.
Iâm just trying to get yâall to understand the true freedom of being who you are in a world where everybody running themselves crazy to fit into a shoe that's too small, or too big, or too wide. Whatever.
All I am saying is, why be them when you can be you?
Yeah they may have the money, but you may have more peace. Just because you have more peace than money doesnât mean the money wonât come sooner or later.
Donât let that go over your head.
The moment you try to fit in by wearing something you donât like or even being in certain environments, youâre suppressing yourself. As far as we know for sure, we have this one life. Ride the wave of finding yourself.
Love. Peace. Manifest.
