in fact all of this is quite realistic to what a bisexual will hear even from “well-meaning” people of their own community, being told you’re just ‘confused’ and that its a ‘phase’ is something i think most queer people but especially and heavily so bisexuals.

Mon never makes a big deal out of telling Kim he has dated another gender before, in fact its clear especially, and spoiler i guess for this post in general, by the end when he hears the insecurities Kim projected onto him that he feels quite secure in his own identity.

Kim is implied to be a gay man, i mean multiple crushes he got rejected by in his all boys school + his confusion around the idea Mon would be attracted to more than just girls or boys.

and while that doesn’t justify anything it explains in a sense the way he reacted.

with confusion around a label he doesn’t relate to so doesn’t understand quite yet.

i cant pretend thai bls and bls in general dont have an issue with being extremely biphobic but thats not whats happening there and it is so frustrating to see something that was actually a beautiful resolution of conflict with communication be turned into “he reacted bad so the show must not support bisexuals”
