Right now I’m working on different types of prototypes for glasses! Here’s one that can be folded and opened. But the thing is, the handles are only clipped on with little nibs and notches snapped together. So they can be pretty easily popped off if you tried to. (Maybe that’s a good thing? Something people might want for some reason?) But having them fall apart doesn’t seem like a big issue when just handling them like the first design did. This is also the second design of glasses we can print! More of a “hipster” style. c: Should be super cute on Anthony. This is also pre-gloss/varnish. Hopefully glossing them won’t get in the way of the mobility. I’ll keep y'all updated!! I know they’re not going to look as pretty and flawless as the hand made acrylic glasses people make… But maybe they’ll be… Good enough? :c These are just the beginning stages though. I’m sure I’ll figure out better processes and materials along the way! ^^ I’d love to make little metal joints to hold them together and look more professional. Maybe add little rhinestones or bandage/tape bits on the nose bridge or even those beaded necklace things to hold your glasses on! A whole bunch of aesthetic details and different paint coats. Since its hand painted, I could try different patterns! o: Who knows! I’m excited to try things out. Maybe try and sell one or two prototypes in the future.. Just to sort of feel out if people are interested in them. ^^; I’m nervous to sell things I’ve made. But I can make a lot of different things. Wire flower crowns, necklaces and bracelets, WE CAN PRINT CROWNS, shirts and sweaters, pajama pants… The list sort of goes on. All in MSD and SD sizes (once big tony gets his head home). I’m blabbing now. I’m just excited to share my little goodies with people in the hobby... Potentially.
