Biennale del Mediterraneo XIX edizione “School of Waters”
La Biennale dei giovani artisti dell’Europa e del Mediterraneo fu avviata nel 1985 con la caratteristica di essere una manifestazione artistica itinerante.
Iniziativa promossa e organizzata da Bjcem - Association Biennale des Jeunes Créateurs de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée, e che in questa edizione si presenta infatti come una scuola temporanea ispirata a pedagogie radicali e sperimentali e al modo in cui sfidano i formati artistici, curatoriali e di ricerca.

PUGLIA, OTTOBRE 2018-BANDO INTERNAZIONALE PER NARRATORI (scadenza call 15 luglio) - Dritti al cuore di quello che sta accadendo agli ulivi di Puglia. Luigi D’Elia sarà il tutor della sezione “narrazione”, la guida di un viaggio per dar voce al sistema circolatorio che viaggia senza soluzione di continuità tra gli esseri viventi della Puglia e i loro ulivi. LANDXCAPES è un progetto multidisciplinare speciale (narrazione, teatro, foto/video, design, land-art, arti visive) della Regione Puglia, Assessorato alla Cultura, BJCEM-Biennale Giovani Artisti del Mediterraneo, Teatro Pubblico Pugliese. Il bando è aperto a giovani del bacino del Mediterraneo. Per i selezionati trasferta e residenza sostenuti dal progetto. “La saggezza antica insegnava che il Mediterraneo arriva fin dove cresce l’ulivo”(Predag Matvejevic) - Con preghiera di diffusione.

ABOUT
Disorder is the concept that defines the BJCEM participation to WEYA,World Event Young Artists, which will take place next September, from 7th to 16th, in Nottingham.
The project is curated by Mr. Marco Trulli and Mr. Claudio Zecchi and has been developed by BJCEM with more than 50 members and partners of its network.
Disorder will offer the possibility to enjoy in a single city the works of more than 100 artists coming from 30 different Countries of Europe and the Mediterranean area (among them Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Israel, Algeria, Tunisia, Mauritania, and Syria).
The topic Disorder is meant in its positive meaning, as the potential of transformation and the creation of transition, as a reference to a crisis or a friction state that leads to a moment of changing and shifting from a phase to another.
