Unboxing my bitzee aquarium! Ive been so excited for this since it was announced. Its more of a desk pet than a standard tamagotchi and progression is at your own pace rather than set days and times for evolutions; which I love running something more relaxed alongside my tamas (punirunes are great in this way too!). Its got a mix for creature collecting aspects and traditional vpet aspects. I absolutely love the display direction they've gone with both the doghouse and now the aquarium, its giving pixel chix in the best way 🎀🩷!!
I love that there is tapping, petting and the physical pellets, makes it feel so unique to itself.
I would LOVE to see an entire terarrium line; snakes, frogs, turtles, scorpions, spiders, beetles etc there is so much you could do with that!!!

Im surprised i found this at walmart tbh o.o i knew somthing was calling me to that aisle haha
im obsessed with the bitzee's gimmick. all images are projected from one single light bar oscillating and changing colors very fast. you also interact with the pets and menu by tapping the top of the light bar.
its also motion sensitive and your pets have different interactions depending on how you move the toy, very cute.
probably not safe if you are photosensitive because the entire display is dependent on rapidly flashing lights. i personally love it but i havent played it while having a migraine because i think it would make me sick
i do feel like its too easy to get your pets fully evolved, so i pace myself and only play with the pets for a couple minutes a day to extend gameplay (but i can play the minigames from fully evolved pets as much as i want)
its built like a ring box complete with velvety interior. propose to someone with a funny little animal projection?
