Here's a short video I've made to express my gratitude for all your phenomenal birthday messages! I apologise for having been largely absent from social media in the last few months (I've just noticed the last update I posted here on Instagram was at the beginning of January) but I've had no choice but to focus 100% of my efforts on trying to overcome another series of obstacles that were placed in my path. It's literally been a case of all hands to the pump and I've regularly been toiling away 14-16 hours a day. I'm relieved and delighted to report I've successfully overcome almost all the challenges and therefore, in this new year in my life, I will hopefully be able to spare some time once in a while to post updates here like I used to in years gone by. As I say in the video, thank you for all the words of love, kindness and support in your messages over the last few days. It's way more than I deserve and I am truly humbled. I will end with the following delectation on friendship from one of my favourite authors, Albert Camus: “Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Don't walk behind me; I may not lead.
