I have a Cintiq 13HD (And, funny story, got it for free. I ordered it when they first came out, but there was shortages. I ordered from a company specifically because they said they had it in stock and I needed a new drawing tablet for school. Then, 2 weeks AFTER I ordered they told me they didn’t have it in stock after all and it would take around 6 months to get one in. I asked for a refund so I could purchase elsewhere and they refused. After a lot of back and forth I had to open a case with Paypal. The company never responded to the case so I won and got the money back by default. Ended up getting a used Intuos pro off a classmate instead. 6 months later a Cintiq shows up on my doorstep. I contacted their customer service asking to return it and they told me there was no returns. I tried to explain the situation and they got a manager involved. Again tried to explain to the manager I had done a Paypal dispute and won so I never paid and the order should have been cancelled. I wasn’t interested in paying, I just wanted to send it back. Still refused to “accept a return” and when I asked if I could just mail it to their corporate office I was told I could absolutely not do that and the package would be refused and send back to me. Finally they “escalated my case”. I got bored of looking at this Cintiq sitting around and obviously I had wanted it in the first place so I opened it up and started using it and it was amaaazing. So a few days pass and this new customer service person calls me and says they reviewed my case. I explain that I had since opened it up and wanted to keep it, not return it, so if they could just give me a way to pay I would pay for it. This person then told me that I couldn’t possibly have gotten a Cintiq from them because they had no record of me ever placing an order with them. I offered to send them a photo of the box with their shipping label on it and a copy of the paypal dispute where I won. Then I basically got accused of faking it so I could get a refund for something I never bought in the first place. I tried for the thousandth time to explain I literally just wanted to mail them a check at this point so I didn’t feel guilty about getting this product from them for free and got told any check from me wouldn’t be cashed and would be investigated as a potential scam. Sooo... I got a free Cintiq.)
