Birchmask was born outside of BlazeClan, living as a loner for much of her kithood. When she reached adulthood, she caught wind of a group of cats living in the red forest. Having lived on her own, Birchmask had a natural talent for healing and taking care of herself. She introduced herself to BlazeClan, and was swiftly apprenticed as a medicine cat. While she may be gifted in healing, Birchmask was always skeptical of StarClan. She wouldn't say she doesn't believe in them, but is generally disinterested. Her personality made her get along with most cats, but her best friend would be another young cat, Cherryseed. The two did everything together for many moons, having crushes on one another but never vocalizing it. That is, until very recently, where they are now happy mates. Birchmask is kind and patient, perfect qualities for a healer. She's served her Clan for many moons, and she still has many more to come.
