Just because psych wards have phased out things like lobotomies, ECT, straightjackets (even tho i’m sure these things still happen in some parts of the world, i’m talking about the west) doesn’t mean there still aren’t harmful practices in these wards.
Forcibly injecting patients when they don’t ‘comply’ or putting them in isolation for days on end are practices that still go on and are inhumane and need to be stopped. Or just abolish psych wards all together.
I had a seizure yesterday, and whilst my seizures are less frequent since my meds have been upped I still have them. But I find I recover more quickly from them too. Thank fuck for lamictal
I feel on the edge of (hypo)mania rn. I’m hoping it won’t last very long
Saw my psychiatrist today and one med got decreased and another one got increased. Got me feeling like a guinea pig.

Been free from the psych ward for 3 years now and I will never go back. You’ll have to drag me kicking and screaming.
Sooo i’ve had psychosis that has lasted for weeks and even months but the other day I had a delusion that only lasted a couple of hours but when I woke up the next morning I didn’t believe it anymore and i’m just wondering how this is even possible? Has anyone else had this?
Kinda need to be put down like a sick dog at the rate i’m going
