Been studying so much for this Biochem exam that I saw someone’s initials (LG) and thought it was denoting the single letter abbreviation of Leucine and Glycine

Hey :) I know that chemistry may not be the best aspect of science but have you heard of biochemistry? It incorporates both biology and chemistry and it's interesting to see how certain chemicals or elements are crucial in a human body. For example, pH of blood. In biology, we learn that cells are the basic building blocks of an organism. However, cells are made up of smaller things like atoms. Without them, cells can't exist. (and fyi, physics also play a part in building bombs)
biochem is great and i have no problem with that!! love biochem!! i just have trouble getting my mind around chemistry on its own because the whole science is so abstract and it makes me frustrated
but i really appreciate that you took some time out of your day to tell me about this :) thank you!
I Rarely Mention That I’m A Science Geek
Pedigree charts and a cold one (Dihydrogen Monoxide). Not a bad way to end the night. Plans to talk to a professor in the morning to join in on a current fieldwork project. Genetics lab in the afternoon and thankfully no Organic Chem lab until next Wednesday.
