Description: Ricky just wants to get wasted and dance in peace, but a certain tall boy (with no rizz whatsoever) keeps trying to hit... And Ricky is starting to find it amusing (and possibly, endearing).
Tags: M x M, Gyubrik, smut, fluff, swearing (I don't censor the words), Ricky is a brat, Gyuvin is down bad, plot with eventual smut, side Binneul, side Jyuntael, a little bit of Geonmaet and Geonrik but Gyubrik is the main plot.
A/N: My first fic/smut after a long time. ZB1 really has me crawling back to writing fics. Hope you enjoy.~
Also, Ricky is blond here cause I miss blond Rik and hope he makes a comeback. TT
And its quite long, a lot of plot so if that's not your thing, sorry. :3 It was meant to be a one-shot but I got lost in the plot... so now, this is Part 1 of a series, and this part has no smut yet.

"We've been going out every night, aren't you tired?"
Zhang Hao whined. Ricky just blinked at his cousin with a blank face.
"You're literally the one who's getting laid every other night."
Hao blushed a deeper pink beneath his makeup.
"Not my fault I have a boyfriend and you don't."
"Not my fault no one's hitting on me."
Hao rolled his eyes.
"It's your fault you keep pulling us to straight bars and clubs. And that's not true, plenty girls hit on you. Even supposedly straight guys stare at you a little too long."
Ricky shrugged. He doesn't need to get laid when all he wants is to drink and dance.
"Hey babe, hey Ricky."
Sung Hanbin, Hao's boyfriend, made his way into their shared apartment. He landed a peck on Hao's lips and looked at their attire.
"Please don't tell me we're going to a straight club again."
Ricky rolled his eyes at the way they were both looking at him exasperated.
"Fine." He finally gave in. "Why don't you guys pick tonight?"
Hao's eyes lit up as Hanbin rambled on about a club his best friend worked at. Ricky drowned them out as he perfected his make up. He already looked perfect anyway, with or without makeup, but he liked to indulge himself by staring in the mirror to admire.
Ricky only recently turned the legal age, but it was also almost time for him to return to Shanghai to start being groomed to be a worthy heir for his father's corporate empire. He had exactly one year left, and he was gonna spend every waking minute of his freedom doing everything he wanted.
"Let's go already."
Hao started to nag. For someone who complains about them going out every night, he seemed a little too eager to leave. Ricky took one last look, running a hand through his long blond hair. Almost the perfect length, he thought to himself. He wanted to grow out his hair a little before his father would make him go back to boring black.
They climbed into Hanbin's car and picked up Matthew on the way. Despite having been in Seoul for a while, Ricky only ever hung out with his cousin, which then included Hanbin when they started dating 2 months ago. Hanbin was over way too much (and Ricky was glad they got the thick-walled apartment as opposed to the cheaper one Hao wanted), but other than their constant PDA, he didn't really mind Hanbin's constant presence. They just somehow clicked and went well together, and if Ricky believed in things like destiny, they would be the closest thing to it.
What about Ricky? If he had a destiny, it would be to become his father's heir, get married to some girl his parents picked for him, and produce a heir for the company just like his own parents had produced him. He didn't mind inheriting the company. Ricky actually liked the thought of becoming CEO one day, and he really enjoyed studying. He was good at it too. He just hated everything else that came with it, like the certain image he had to maintain.
Ricky liked to party and let loose. That was how he met Matthew, one of Hanbin's best friends and housemate. He was the only friend willing to party in straight clubs with them. Much like Ricky, he could swing both ways, but with a preference for men.
"Are we going to Gyuvin's?"
Matthew asked, taking off his jacket. Hanbin said yes, excited that Ricky finally let them pick a place. He was also excited to finally introduce Ricky to his other friends.
"You'll like Gyuvin," Hao said nonchalantly. "It's hard not to like him."
"Yeah," Matthew smiled. "But sometimes he can be a little silly."
He could tell he was fond of him from his tone. Ricky didn't really mind meeting new people. He was just selective about who he kept in his life, and he believed in having a small but tight circle. Only those he could trust with his life.
"Whoa, that bouncer looks yummy."
Hao giggled, and Ricky shook his head. His dear cousin and his boyfriend were freaky. Or maybe crazy would be a better word. They sometimes took home a third person to join in on their sexcapades (once again thank goodness for thick walls).
"Well, if you're okay with sharing," said Matthew. "Cause that's my booty call."
Hao's jaw dropped as Hanbin laughed.
"Hey Gunwook," Matthew dazzled with his smile.
The bouncer perked up when he saw the group. He was as tall as Ricky, but he looked even bigger because of his physique.
"Hey, hyung." Gunwook smiled back, then eyed Ricky up and down. "And who are these fine people?"
He stared at Ricky a little too long, but Ricky was used to it, then he turned to Hao.
"Hanbin's soulmate, Zhang Hao, and Shen Ricky, Hao's cousin."
Matthew introduced them. Gunwook smiled and shook their hands, lingering a bit when it came to Ricky. Matthew laughed as they all shuffled in, and Ricky was surprised as there seemed to be no hint of jealousy from the older boy when Gunwook was clearly hitting on him.
"My shift is almost done, why don't I come buy you a drink later?"
Ricky blinked at him slowly. Color him intrigued. Gunwook was handsome and looked way too gentle to be a bouncer. Ricky also had a thing for men who were taller than him anyway, so he didn't mind.
"Sure," Ricky smiled. "If you can find me."
Gunwook chuckled and agreed to the challenge.
The club looked pretty classy. Well, as classy as a club could look. Ricky could already tell before they even went inside because of the long line outside. If Hanbin's friends didn't work there, they probably would've had to wait in line too.
Ricky was already ordering his third drink when the rest of the group just finished their first. He couldn't help it, though. He let the bartender concoct up whatever he wanted so it could be a surprise, a routine he does with every bar, and this bartender knew what the fuck he was doing. However, Hao was already frowning.
"Jiwoong hyung," Hao addressed the bartender, "Please don't let him have more than five drinks."
"C'mon, five? At least one extra shot." Ricky pouted.
"Fine." Hao sighed. "But no more than that."
"We'll keep an eye on him," The other bartender replied.
Taerae, Ricky thought, If I remember correctly. Hanbin seemed to be friends with everyone working in this club.
"Hyung! Hyung!!!"
Ricky whipped around to see who the loud ass voice belonged to. Even above the club music, they could hear his voice. The tall boy approaching them looked giddy as hell, hand waving and laughing and practically bouncing off the walls. He enveloped Hanbin and Hao into a hug.
"Can't believe you guys are finally here," he beamed. "See? I even have my own badge!"
Ricky smiled a bit. He couldn't help but be amused at the pure innocence he seemed to radiate. And Hao was right, it was easy to like Gyuvin. Hanbin gestured to Ricky and introduced him to the boy.
"H-Hi!"
Gyuvin stuttered a bit when he faced Ricky, eyes getting a bit wider. Although Ricky wasn't sure how that was possible since his eyes were already big to begin with. He smiled and shook his hand.
"You look like a princess!"
Gyuvin exclaimed, and Hanbin face-palmed himself at the background while Hao giggled. Wow, Ricky thought, dude sounds dumb as hell.
"I'm Ricky."
"Ricky!" Gyuvin repeated, "Kim Ricky."
Gyuvin beamed at the pretty blond before him who was staring back with his boba eyes, slowly and lazily blinking.
"My name is not is Kim Ricky."
"I know, it just sounded good. My name is Kim Gyuvin."
Gyuvin laughs at the confused boy. He looks like a kitty cat, he thought to himself. How cute and adorable and so very confused.
"Well, Ricky is enough."
"Okay, anything you want princess!" Gyuvin winked.
"I'm gonna go dance now."
Ricky turned away from him and headed to the dance floor. He could feel Gyuvin follow him with his eyes but he didn't look back. Instead, he slowly swayed to the music, losing himself to the buzz of alcohol, head empty and slowly moving. He closed his eyes to tune out everyone else and focus on the music.
Ricky bumped a bit every now and then to other people dancing but that was normal. What was annoying was every now and then a random man would attempt to hit on him, disturbing the little flow he had created. He was starting to get into the mood again when a clumsy oaf stepped on his foot.
"Ow! What the-"
Ricky almost cursed out as eyes shot open. He looked up to see a sheepish Gyuvin in front of him.
"Sorry Rwick! Everyone kept hitting on you so I wanted to protect you..."
Ricky sighed. He couldn't be mad when he looked like a literal harmless puppy.
"Its fine." Gyuvin face instantly lit up. "Do you wanna dance?"
The puppy nodded vigorously.
"You're so shiny!"
Ricky was unimpressed.
"You're so weird Kim Qubing."
"If that means I get to spend time with you," Gyuvin giggled. "I'm dancing with a pretty kitty!"
Ricky snorted. He was genuinely flabbergasted at the poor attempts at flirting. It was also annoying that he was stupidly tall and cute. Oof! Gyuvin suddenly lurched forward when someone extremely wasted nudged him, which meant he knocked on Ricky.
"Kim Ricky!" He shouted. "Sorry, princess." He mumbled.
Ricky just wanted to get wasted and dance, and now he felt way too sober. He couldn't even dance well because of the clumsy puppy.
"Stop saying sorry Qubing. I need a drink."
They headed to the bar again. This time, Taerae whipped up a drink for them, and Ricky isn't sure that its even possible but it tastes even better than what Jiwoong had made earlier.
"Fuck, this is so good, I could kiss you."
"He has a boyfriend," Gyuvin interjected. "But I don't. We could kiss."
Ricky smiled, amused. Gyuvin made his attraction so blatant, and he looked so genuine whenever he spouted compliments. The little one-liners he would drop occasionally were cheesy as hell, but Ricky could tell it would work on some unassuming girl. Because no matter how clumsy the puppy was, he was very handsome. However, Gyuvin was too innocent for Ricky's taste. That was the problem, he was a little too pure. Ricky liked his men slightly corrupted.
Gyuvin yapped away about how Mango is the superior fruit as Ricky listened to him. He then excused himself to leave for work when Ricky downed a shot. Puppy was so busy with the kitty he forgot he was there to work. A few minutes later, Ricky was begging Taerae for another shot, and he finally caved when he promised it would be the last one.
"Slow down Ricky."
A smooth voice called out. Gunwook put his hands on Ricky's waist and drew two circles with his thumb as he sat down next to him. Fuck, Ricky thought, guess I'm getting laid tonight.
They moved together to the rhythm, and Gunwook was good at taking the lead, his hands on Ricky's hips. What a tiny slutty waist, Gunwook thought. Ricky looked so dainty and small against his larger frame. He tried to concentrate on their dancing but Ricky's hips grinding on him wasn't helping. Shit.
"Wanna go to the restroom?" Ricky mumbled.
Gunwook paused for a short while and Ricky whined as he pushed him to make a decision. Shit shit shit. He was not the strongest soldier.
Ricky's arms were around his neck as they sloppily kissed, a sense of urgency in their movements. Gunwook tightened his grip on Ricky's waist, who was moaning into their kiss. He could feel himself getting even harder (which he already was since the dance floor). If it was any other night he would've taken him home but the sense of urgency was too much right now. He had to have Ricky right there, and judging by Ricky's seductive bedroom eyes right now, he feels the same way.
Gunwook guided Ricky to the private employees only bathroom. They tried the public one but of course it was occupado, and he could feel Ricky getting impatient.
"Gunwook?"
And of course Gyuvin would show up to cock block him.
"Leave us alone, Gyuvin."
Gyuvin, for the first time that night, wasn't smiling. He scrunched his eyebrows a little, and Ricky frowned.
"Why aren't you smiling, puppy?"
Ricky slurred.
"Let's go."
Gunwook was about to pull Ricky away from the scene.
"He's drunk Gunwook, like really drunk."
"What, you want me leave him so you can have him to yourself?"
"What? No, I was just-"
"Just letting us go have our fun. I got to him first, Gyuvin."
"It's not a fucking competition."
Ricky's head snapped up at the puppy cursing. Gyuvin had no hint of amusement in his eyes.
"Ow..."
Ricky softly whimpered. Gyuvin's gaze landed on Gunwook's grip on Ricky's wrist, which had gotten a little too tight during their heated conversation. He frowned and reached out when Haobin showed up out of nowhere.
"Is everything okay here?"
Hanbin's voice was firm and made them stand a little straighter. Zhang Hao grabbed his cousin and started scolding him in the corner, chiding him about having one too many drinks but softly rubbing his back at the same time. Ricky was mumbling a few words but it was too low to decipher.
"Ricky's too drunk."
Gyuvin stated as Gunwook shrugged.
"He seemed to be into it."
"I really expected you to be smarter, Gunwook," Hanbin said, "I know you guys always have this little rivalry thing going on but Ricky is family. And as you can see, he's wasted. You should have been taking care of him."
Gunwook was a little taken aback at Hanbin's tone and stayed quiet. He admitted that he had gotten a little too carried away, but who could blame him? Ricky had a face men would go to war for. Or in this case, competition with Kim Gyuvin.
"You can have him."
"You're an asshole," Gyuvin rolled his at Gunwook. "And its not a fucking competition. And Ricky's not a fucking prize."
Zhang Hao walked back to the trio with Ricky, holding on to his arms.
"He's okay, but I think it might be time to call it a night."
"I'm okay."
Ricky mumbled, but everyone agreed to go home. Hanbin offered them to stay the night, much to Gyuvin's delight. He made it his mission to take care of Ricky.
"Go sleep with Hanbin," Gyuvin urged Hao, "I can stay with him."
Ricky was in the bathroom taking a bath. He slightly sobered up on the way home, and Gyuvin was making him a wake-me-up drink in the kitchen, where he was conversing with Hao.
"Thanks, Gyuvin. I can tell he's comfortable around you."
"Really? I don't really see it"
Gyuvin chuckled. The pretty kitty had been indifferent to his advances all night, but he did seem a little amused at times.
"He rarely laughs... or smiles," Hao replied. "His small interactions with you were the closest he got to smiling all week."
Gyuvin was shocked to say the least because they were so different. Gyuvin rarely had times where he didn't smile. It was like second-nature to him.
"Anyway, good night Gyub, I know my little brother is in good hands."
Hao retreated to sleep as Gyuvin finished making the drink and headed to the bathroom. Matthew wasn't home yet and he never might be, at least not for the night. He was probably crashing somewhere, maybe even at Gunwook's place since he didn't score with Ricky after all. And Yujin, Hanbin's little brother, was pulling an all-nighter in college.
"Can I come in?"
Gyuvin knocked on the door. Ricky mumbled in response as the puppy made his way in.
"Hey, are you feeling better?"
"Yeah."
Ricky couldn't make himself look at Gyuvin in the eye. The circumstances were too embarrassing for him. He chose to focus on the bubbles around the tub, and for some reason, a toy deer next to the tub.
"Why do you have a deer in here?"
"Oh, that's Bambi. Get it? Because I'm like a deer!"
Ricky stared and slowly blinked at him.
"Really? I thought you were more like a puppy."
Gyuvin laughed. He heard that many times, and he didn't mind, but he liked pushing his Bambi agenda.
"I'll be anything you want me to be."
"No. Bambi suits you."
Ricky lips twitched up a little as he looked down. He looks ADORABLE, Gyuvin thought.
"Ricky?"
"Mhm?"
When Ricky turned to Gyuvin, the puppy was close. Too close, Ricky thought, his heart beating faster. Gyuvin reached out his hands to cup Ricky's face, bringing him closer. He closed the distance between them, softly touching their lips. Ricky was slightly startled but slowly kissed him back.
Gyuvin was gentle and careful, different from the rough sloppy handling Ricky was used to. But somehow, the kiss felt natural. Like it was the most natural thing in the world. Like destiny.
