Me: yes, almost done with the mallorn shawl, now to bind off! I'm sure there'll be no problem!
Me: . . . Why the fuck is it telling me to bind off nine stitches if there are only two on the needle!?
I'm not even making this up. The chart literally has you decreasing until two, and then the next row has seven added stitches to bind off. No clue where they're coming from and why. Am I supposed to pick up and bind off down the side of the leaf to the next leaf edge? Quite possibly.
Really wish the instructions are more clear on that.
I'm going to bed. My head can scream about it as I sleep.

Loom Knit: Cast Off with No Stretch
Loom Knit: Cast Off with No Stretch
Loom Knit No Stretch Bind Off The casting off technique for the flat looms has to be carefully considered. This is binding off with no stretch. While this technique is handy, it can ruin your project if the project has some stretch to it. In the scarf example here, a stretchy bind off would have been better. We have a tutorial for casting off with stretch as well. I think it’s handy to know both.…

The best aspect, compared to knitting with loom or needles, is NO BIND OFF.
Think you’re finished with this project? Just stop.
Work til the yarn runs out. Worst case scenario - you thought you could work one more row but you’ve run out before the end! Just rip back that partial row and weave in your end.
Less waste, less guessing.
