We'll get dinner after, whatever you want. Just, don't make a big deal out of it, okay?" He threw his backpack over his shoulder, taking a step toward the tube to see if they'd follow. @ragdclls

*CRASH*

“You know, I could fix that for you.” It could have just been the lighting that made a flash of lightning appear in Billy’s eyes as he appraised the man in front of him. If you didn’t know any better that is.

"Goddamn, this place is a fucking dump." Billy huffed, peeling his arms off of the sticker counter of the bar. His cheeks were flushed, but, it was unclear whether it was from the fever he couldn't shake or the few drinks he'd already had before he got here. He squinted at the lights. "Get me water or something, would you? Don't let me pass out in this hole, alright?" He flicked a few coins across the table before sinking into a seat, desperately trying not to think about all the stains that were splattered onto the upholstery.

"Look, I feel like crap, alright?" Billy sniffled, spending so much time out in the cold and damp finally catching up to him. "Whatever lecture this was going to be, can you just…save it?" He squinted before looking away. "Whatever you think I did, I'm sorry, okay? You're not the first person to mix me up with some…some psychopath or something." @kindnessicpunkrck

Billy launched a broken brick into the river, watching the splash it made before it started to sink. "You think there's fish in there? Their lives probably suck." He kicked a few pieces of rubble, trying to find another chunk worth throwing. "What do they even eat, french fry bags?" He paused for moment before turning to the other, brow raised. "Do you think there's ever been a body in there?" @sirensoundsx

Billy grinned, circling a pair of car keys around his index finger. "You wanna go for a drive?" He looked over, stopping the spinning suddenly to clutch the keys tightly. "Relax, would ya? We're only borrowing it. They won't even notice it's gone. Weren't even home, so, it's not like they need it." @dontdreamitsovcr

Billy opened the front door just enough to lean against the frame. "Stu's not here." he muttered flatly, though the way his eyes lingered on her suggested he wasn't satisfied with leaving it at that. "What are you doing here anyway?" He left the door open, returning to Stu's couch which had become a home to him since he'd gotten out of hospital. "Whatever. Come in if you want. But, if this is some kind of 'thing' between you two..." his cheeks burnt a bitter scarlet, not wanting to say anything more, but the implication enough to strike his jealousy.
