Jughead glances up from the passenger seat, his expression deadpan as he watches Archie light up like a kid on a sugar high. “You realize pumpkins are just… orange gourds that rot slower than your decision-making skills, right?” he mutters, but there’s the faintest smirk tugging at his mouth. He sighs, flipping his beanie off long enough to rake a hand through his hair. “Fine. But if you think I’m carving one of those things, you’re delusional. I’ll supervise. Judge your artistic choices. Maybe steal your cider.” He pauses, side-eyeing his best friend. “You’re lucky I like watching you make a mess of perfectly innocent produce.”
