separate caramel coffee post because I wanna actually talk about bill's death scene in tgwdlm:r. when i tell you I was on the fucking edge of my seat that entire time. like just the fact that it's alice!!!! and the hive!!! that hand bill the gun!!! that man is trying to kill himself as recompense!!!!!!!! paul then throwing the gun back onto the ground was a horrible idea but i mean clearly he wasn't thinking straight so i can't blame him...he certainly blames himself though!!!!! I mean just the fact that your best friend dies at the hand of the gun you kept away from him... the fact that you saved him but for what only a few more seconds,,,,it's actually so fucking tragic. and like bill doesn't just die and fall to the ground. no. he falls forward into paul's arms!!!!! paul is standing there cradling the lifeless body of his best friend!!! the man who he just told he wasn't about to let die!!! he just kinda stares at him in disbelief and slowly lowers bill down until he's laying on his back on the ground!!! it's just the amount of care!!! the amount of just sheer love that exists in that scene because it's like nothing else exists in those few seconds that paul is lowering bill to the ground. it's him and bill. he just loves him so much it's so tragic. it's actually evil. like no no truly. paul truly in that very brief moment just completely shuts down. because nothing else matters.
