When I first met Vic, I had a music rag (newsletter) called ON THE BEAT. It was the precursor to GETATME. It was a quick InSite to what was happening in urban club music in Atlanta. Never would I have guessed that our chance meeting would become one of my most cherished and valued friendship in life (I truly am feeling The Boy’s To Men cut “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday”) I will truly miss my friend. Vic and I are totally 2 different dudes and our viewpoints on things at times were caverns apart. Vic and I could be like 2 old men arguing the same point for months at a time, neither relenting in our position. It was this kind of stubbornness that probably cemented our friendship because neither one of us really had quit in us (Vic never gave up on one of his true friends...) Vic had a sense of commitment to family and friends that I’ve never seen in no other. If this dude was your friend, then that was that... (Vic would constantly get on me about calling on birthdays, years later he finally had me trained to do it and would laugh that hearty laugh when I called. I will miss that laugh...) read more at getatme scoop it (hit the link in the bio...) #getatme #BigVic #RipVictorMartin #OneOfTheGoodOnes #igers #instahub #getatmescoopit #YouWillBeMissed https://www.instagram.com/p/B_xB8HMlrHy/?igshid=f4oe1ny9jo08
