I survived this semester off a 3hr sleep + 3cups coffee prescription. My mind's been on autopilot, working and creating projects that I'm absolutely obsessed with. And whether it's the coffee, or the lack of sleep, I've been in a state of complete happiness.
There have been moments scattered throughout the semester when I got a chance to catch my breath. And in those moments,

My emotions caught up to me last weekend at Big or Bigger's Dance for Canswer Workshop in NYC. Here I was hosting an event, waiting for a hospital diagnosis on another dear friend. But this time, I wasn't helpless in her prognosis. I had the tools to make a difference in her life. The opportunity to rally support and show her my love. This time, I could shape her story--even if it's to deliver a smile.
Realizing our ability to take control in a helpless environment was the perfect release. Thank you, Bri, for supporting us through your journey and giving us the means to make a difference doing what we love.

Pink is not my color. I like black. Like my soul. But don't be fooled.. this loud, #d6346d colored pink sweater is mine. Happily mine.
Today, I took my sweater out for a run in the NY thundershowers. It's our anniversary (my sweater and I)--a year since I ran the Nike's Women Marathon. A year since I realized no challenge is too big. And when given the chance, I will always choose to go bigger.
