spoons is slang for people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, neurodiversity, and neuroatypicality to express a quantification of energy they use throughout the day. many of these people refer to themselves as “spoonies” and the useage of the term originated from “spoon theory” which you can google if u need more info.  please read my FAQ for info on who can use the term. it basically just means energy units
