Juhoon had just finished lighting the last candle on the living room coffee table, finishing the elaborate set up he had going on. He went the whole nine yards setting up the living room. Rose petals, candles, sparkling juice since neither of you were 21 yet. Juhoon sat down admiring his setup, while he waited for you to arrive home from uni.

When you finally arrived home, the apartment was dark, with only the candles providing light. You kicked off your shoes and dropped your bag by the door, oblivious to everything around you.

“Jju? Why are you sitting in the dark, babe?” The sound of your voice started Juhoon. He jumped up from the couch, dashing over to you.

“Y/n! Your home!” He gently grabbed your wrist dragging you into the dimly lit living room. “Look at everything I set up for us.”

“Oh, Juhoon, you really didn’t need to do all this.” You stood in front of everything, taking it all in.

“No, I know I usually don’t show my love for you, so this is my way of doing it. Since, I don’t really say it that much.” You couldn’t help but start to tear up. “Baby? What’s wrong? Do you not like it?” Juhoon kept his hand on your waist, guiding you towards the couch. You followed, sitting down next to him. Juhoon pulled you into his lap, holding him close.

“No, I love it.” You said as a few tears fell. Usually, Juhoon did small things to make you know he loved you, so for him to set up a picnic in the living room was a really big thing for him to do. You knew he wasn’t a loud lover when you and Juhoon first started dating and, even though you were a very loud lover, you were okay with it. You loved loud enough for the both of you anyway. Juhoon pulled you closer. He knew he wasn’t good at showing his feelings and that this meant a lot to you.

Finally, you finished crying. “Juhoon?”

“Yes, babe?”

“Are we going to have dinner or did I kind of kill the mood?”

Juhoon couldn’t help but laugh. “No, you didn’t kill the mood. Let’s eat c’mon.” He picked you up off his lap and set you down next to him on the couch. “Here,” He handed you a glass of sparkling juice.

“Ooh, very luxurious.” You teased, taking a drink from the glass.

You and Juhoon stayed up for most of the night, not even eating dinner, just talking. Talking about the future, talking about the past, talking about anything that crossed your minds. When you finally ran out of things to talk about you just sat in silence. Sometime during the night, you moved into the bedroom, where Juhoon pulled you close against his chest. He had one arm draped over your waist and the other one tangled in your hair. You could smell his cologne, the musky scent taking over your senses. You were perfectly content laying here for the night. You fell asleep in his arms dreaming of a future with him.
