10 facts about my room

I’ve tried being minimalistic, so my room tends to be a clash between absurdly neat and tragically messy. I have tickets, brochures, and post cards from different places I’ve traveled pinned around my room. I started saving things like that when I was fifteen. I like simple bedspreads and sheets so I can change the colors and theme of my room without buying new things or clashing. the only pictures of people in my room are of me and my dad. I used to have posters on my walls as a kid but I don’t like how big and obtrusive they are. (hence why I have postcard-sized things now.) My bed doesn’t have a frame, just the stand beneath the box springs. I like the simplicity. There’s a hole in the wall behind my bedroom door thanks to an ex. My bedroom has a view of the street below. sometimes I like to watch people passing. I put a bench in front of my window just so I could sit there. I don’t have a lot of furniture because I’ve moved around and haven’t bothered getting new things. 

9 facts about my family

My parents met at a concert for an artist neither of them liked. I was born a twin but my brother died. Moeder died in childbirth, leaving my dad and I. My dad raised me in his childhood home. We used to travel during the winter holidays to visit family. I only have one cousin and he’s ten years older than me. My dad and I bought a classic BMW hippie bus when I was in high school and fixed it up together to take road trips. My dad encouraged my love of music. My dad never missed a gig until I moved to London. 

8 facts about my appearance

My hair is naturally brunette but I bleach it white blonde and typically add a blue streak. I’ve always been slender and was considered a late bloomer amongst other females. I prefer dressing androgynously when I can I’m 170 cm (5’7) My eyes are hazelaar, er, hazel. I used to be self conscious about my appearance but I eased into it as I grew up. I wear all shades of blues just to make my blue hair streak stand out. … I have perky breasts. I’m proud of them.

7 facts about my childhood

Star Wars, From, and all things geeky. My dad and I would have movie marathons nearly every weekend. I initially learned English through watching American movies. I fell in love with music thanks to Daft Punk and it became an obsession that I still am not over. I sometimes wished I had a sibling but never told my dad, because then we’d both be grumpy and sad. I never had a female/mother figure in my life. I think my dad did an amazing job raising me on his own.

there’s not much to talk about; it draws in enough tourists to make money I guess. how about I list my favorite things instead. river walks. waffle stands. friites stands. gelato. fresh flowers.

we met online through a game he’s American but sounds Canadian he’s a total nerd he likes birds he’s a bird brain

my parents used to joke about having 12 kids and were excited about having twins. my dad doesn’t (didn’t) regret having us. my mom was a seamstress. my dad was a hippie businessman.

I’m outgoing and loudspoken I need time to get to know people. I prefer one on one interactions.

I love my DJing turntables more than I love anything else I own. my dad bought me a bicycle that I kept in storage when I was traveling and I still love riding it.
