#bfb redraw

Hey! So,,, I wanted to try and work on concepts for my art and do some full warm ups. Let´s go first with the screenshot in question!

I wanted to go for something different and drew from another angle, to mostly practice both perspective and the way I draw water.

Now, let´s see the concept art I use for this;

Sea Monster

So I haven´t done monster desing in YEARS I´ll maybe even redesing it for the next time I draw it, this is pretty much the early BFDI-late BFDIA water monster but more detailed.

Also while I was writting this post I just remmembered this existed and maybe I´ll work on two different one´s now asjhgdskdfs

For the body, I based off sharks and eels, the front fins are based off seals and sea lions, their teeth come from prehistoric fish (Because I wanted this desing to stay a little more loyal to the original monsters), I also gave them both nose and gills, but the nose only works temporarily and is mostly to smell prey.

These are just sketches and color practices, the one on the right bottom is my favorite; it´s an one layer practice, I was going to move the original illustration into a one layer thing, but I decided to scratch that mid-drawing.

Originally the drawing was going to be vertical, but changed that to make it desktop friendly (so feel free to use it as such!).

And lastly, I wanted to for once, work on a speedpaint, I always wanted to try and one but never got the chance, the media or the software to start.
