   It was easy enough to lift Steve’s arm and scoot in under it. Bucky had spotted him on the couch and decided to join him -- but that had to include as much physical contact and pressure as possible. And Steve truly did give the best hugs, the deep, tight, crushing ones that reminded him constantly where he was and who he was with. 

“Okay Patty. You’re all set. Now remember, Barry’s going to set up walls in there to try to keep you from pushing any further. I’m not sure what they are, but you’ll probably know it when you see it,” Cisco informed the other, having already set up the attachments that would allow for Patty to take a journey into Barry’s head. “And be careful. There are probably a lot of things in there he won’t want to talk about. Just push through until you can get to the most focused part of him. You’ll know it because it’ll be the most difficult one to get to.”

Once Cisco had finished instructing her, he turned on the machine, ready to intervene if it became necessary.

Barry was out in moments, and the scene quickly changed from that of STAR labs to the inside of a house. This house had several similarities to the West household, but there were notable differences. The first was that Henry and Nora Allen were in the middle of it, along with a boy who was ten years old at most. “Henry, Barry got into a fight,” the woman said just as Barry’s father came inside. “He did?” The man questioned, and the young Barry was quick to explain himself. “These guys were picking on people just cause they thought they weren’t cool. It wasn’t right.”

How do you NOT develop muse for other things? I wish I could stop! I would love to have just one muse….

I mean? LBR a part of it will always be that I have a partner that keeps me invested and interested in Bilbo’s storyline. I tend to develop very deep connections with the involved RPers; it’s one reason that I can’t really get into the groove of RPing with too many people -- a lot of people change characters at the drop of a hat and for me it’s exhausting to keep up with that?

The other thing is I just get super passionate about the character’s worldbuilding tbh. I did that with my APH China and I do it with Bilbo as well. I love delving into their childhoods, backstories, personal and professional relationships, etc. It’s fun for me to explore and it’s personally a lot more fun for me to do that than to move from one character to another. Maybe it’s because I relate to these characters a lot?

Barry got the text on his phone while he was working on something with Caitlin. He had so much going on in his head, Reverse Flash was locked in the Pipeline, and now Patty wanted to meet to talk. She’d already told him she was leaving, she was just picking up her life and moving. Of course he supported her, she was going to learn to be a CSI like him, it’s what she’d always wanted to do. He just didn’t know what else she could say to him now, that wouldn’t hurt him more than it hurt now.
