"What would you do for 1 Million Dollars?"
A question that suddenly pops up while I was eating homemade charlie chan. As someone who lives in a 3rd world country, that's a lot.
β¬οΈ
This has been in my drafts for a year now supposedly. I still do not know what I would do for 1 Million Dollars. Perhaps, anything, but at the same time, nothing.
It is a question beyond what I can process. Something that I know will never come true. But there are things like; maybe, possibly, you can't say for sure.
It makes you think: "What WOULD I do for 1 Million Dollar?" Conceivably, in a very downful situation, I may do anything. But again, that is one of many other possibilities.
I can do something, but not anything and certainly not nothing. I can do nothing, while doing anything. I can do something while having to do nothing. I can do anything but only doing something.
All I can say is "another time."
It stands to reason that when you keep the ego out of it, you have a better chance of making music that stands the test of time, because it's both part of you and beyond you.
