mateo had been trying to up his game with evelyn as the year came to a close. gio had been moving in on amani, and he had been in a rut with the girl on his mind, all because of exams. he had invited her to a holiday party as his date - he wasn’t sure she’d caught on to that part, but that was her status in his mind, and it was all that mattered. he had come back to the spot that he had left her in, drinks in hand as he strides up to her. “for you.” he smiles, handing her the glass. “lighten up, amor. you’ll do fine on your exams, just... live in the moment for a bit, yeah?” // @bexfour

marisol smiles at the driver as he exists the car, giving the couple some privacy. they had been picked up by one of the family’s drivers, and the employee had given them some time to chat quietly amongst themselves as they unloaded their luggage. the ride over to the house had been painfully quiet, and marisol was worried for khalid. her parents were nice, and were especially excited to see khalid. he had nothing to worry about, but marisol still knew he was a bit uneasy. “khalid, you okay babe?” she asks quietly, squeezing their intertwined hands softly as she looks at him. “the heat getting to you already?” she jokes, a wry smile on her lips // @bexfour

amani eyes the ice skeptically as she bites on her bottom lip, her small hands gripping onto the bench as her mind races through all the things that could happen at the rink - an injury, a bloody nose, a panic attack in the middle of the ice - all valid, albeit rare, situations that could happen at the moment. her eyebrows raise slightly as she looks up at gio then back at the ice. “gio, i told you i couldn’t skate.” she sighs, pouting lightly. “if i lose a leg, i’m blaming you.” // @bexfour

               SURELY EDEN HAD ALWAYS PICTURED herself settling down, but never this way. To tie the knot with someone whom she had no interest in, and have it all planned by her parents? She had always known that her parents, her mother specifically, can be a little controlling but to the extent of choosing her partner? That has Eden tightlipped and vexed during the wedding, and aloof most of the time as she shares the same roof with her new spouse. Though she hadn’t got anything personal against the other, she can’t help but to act cold. Even during times where she finds herself enjoying the company, she’d tug herself out of it immediately and resume her little act of defiance - she doesn’t think she could ever let her parents have the satisfaction of knowing the marriage could possibly one of the best decisions they could have ever done for her. And with that, she finds her way out of the house every time he’s there, an attempt to minimise any time they could spend together (and for her to catch any more feelings). Upon seeing him, the petite brunette is immediately grabbing onto her phone and keys, ready to leave the house despite with no plans of going anywhere. “Uh, I’m going out.
