Tiran lays back on the scaffolding after the last rivet was tightened. An exhausted laugh escapes him as the work before the work was finally done. For now he's content to just lay on the planks and admire his handy-work.
Most of the metal was replaced, and that which wasn't was put in a scrap pile for smelting down later. The interior of the warehouse greatly changed from the web-laden, rust-bitten mess that it was, transformed into a living space above an empty floor. An empty floor which would soon be one of the most high-tech workshops on the planet.
It wasn't shiny but it was efficient and lasting, which he knew his wife would appreciate. And then promptly decorate. Even the outside had been redone with new siding and insulation of various types.
"Whew. Time to grab something to eat, I'm starving!" he rolled his legs to attempt the usual descent, though overshot and ended up nearly flinging himself off of the scaffolding entirely.
"Whoa! Hey-Yeeh!" Tiran scrambled to grab onto anything, boards, rods, anything to stop his fall but only managed to slow the inevitable and wound up landing on cold concrete flooring with a thud.
"....or I could just lay here. That's an option too. Urghh..." He let out a half sigh, half whimper and resigned himself to lay there for now.
Victory today was bittersweet.
