Hahahaha, okay, this is like, off the top of my head, and I’m completely revealing my hand in how much movie industry history I know, haha, but let’s saaaaayy - - 

Beth Marks ran away to New York with her baby sister in the early 1930s, desperate to make a career for herself as a Ziegfeld Girl and raise her sister to have all the opportunities in the world. It’s no easy task, but she tours with the illustrious revue in 1936, before being told the group is set to disband. With no other options, Beth rapidly starts auditioning, finally being scouted by the son of the famous MGM movie producer, John Boland. 

It’s not long then before Beth’s moved out to Hollywood and her name is up in lights. She marries John’s son, Dean, cementing her place as a rising star within a Hollywood dynasty. She books role after role, makes star turn after star turn, has four beautiful children, only as she passes 40, her star begins to fade. She’s replaced with younger women in front of the camera, and then much to her humiliation, a younger one behind it too as Dean begins a range of tabloid-fodder affairs. She can’t leave him – can’t risk her name, her reputation, her career – and so she lets him spin stories while she bats her lashes for the camera.

Still, she won’t let it get the better of her, and one night she finds herself at a glamour drenched Hollywood party – one she’s never been at before – where she meets the mysterious Rio. A handsome stranger who she mistakes first for a fan, and then for a suitor, and nothing happens that night, but later Beth sees his face splashed in the papers, finds out he’s a mobster, and she hears rumours of his money boosting up the MGM studio lot, and okay, maybe Beth gets her hands on a screenplay (written by a dynamic new writing duo, Ruby and Stan Hill) that would see her in a role worthy of her again, would see her secure her own fortune and her own future.

so you are sort of correct that fluff is not generally my thing. so i don’t promise that all of these are in the fluff category, because i’m not entirely sure i understand what constitutes fluff? but all these fics are, i think, light on angst (or if there’s angst present they are balanced with excellent humor). i hope you enjoy!!

Ok so, I plan to write a brio fic in gg universe but Rio has a twin named Johnny Tuturro, but I never watch graceland and don't plan to (your gifset are enough for me). Could you tell me Johnny Job (like I know he is a kind of Fbi secret agent but I'm not sure.) his trait character, his personality and what's the big difference with Rio? Thank you in advance.

2. do you do something creative/related “irl” as well?

no :(( i mean, i do digital colouring books sometimes, if that counts. and i’ve tried the journaling and calligraphy things, but they’re not for me, i hate making mistakes and ruining the expensive journals and pens. so instead i don’t use them. which makes a lot more sense, of course lol

19. your favourite fandom(s) to see graphics / gifs come from

i mean, obvi gg and awae, but also i’ve seen some the umbrella academy and the witcher gifsets floating around and while i have no interest in watching those shows, i gotta admit some of those gifsets with the big calligraphy and shape gif inceptions are gorgeous

34. gif makers, how many frames do you import? (and why!)

i mean, all of them?? i don’t skip frames. i tried it once because the gifs were too big but it made them choppy, so yeah, no skipping. but around 40-50 frames for big gifs and anywhere between 40 and ~150 for smaller gifs. but all gifs in a set have the same number of frames unless it’s completely impossible to do so, because i hate knowing they aren’t in time with each other.

green: do you have a favourite flower?

yes! peonies! they’re pretty!

grey: how many languages do you speak? do you want to learn any more?

just two, dutch and english. i can make sense of german bc i speak dutch but i can’t speak it. once upon a time my french wasn’t all that bad but ive forgotten most. i lived in sweden for a few months and discovered that i can actually understand swedish pretty well when i read it, bc again, it’s relatively close to dutch, but speak it? never! their pronunciation is wildly different from dutch imo. i downloaded duolingo the first day and deleted it four days later lmao. ive thought about moving back to sweden or move to norway maybe, in which case i’d like to be able to speak swedish/norwegian. but learning a language when you’re not surrounded by it is pretty hard! so unless i actually move to a place where they speak a language i dont know, i dont actually see myself do it. on some level i wish i spoke spanish bc i listen to so much spanish music but...... effort

rose: favourite scent on a person? 

oh what an interesting question! im not sure? i very quickly associate scents with people so back when i was in love had a crush, anyone wearing that particular cologne had me going !!!!! omg !!!!! but now im crush-free and open to many scents let’s gooooo
