So i did this lil timelapse of me doodling this old version of godhead fred! i dont exactly remember how fast the entire process took, but i stuck with my usual flow of getting an image and color down more than worrying about making an extravagant masterpiece. i also realized that, when watching this, i find so much fascination and satisfaction seeing all of the changing and morphing drips and strings of the paint morph around as i give them fine touches to look better! and also, i wrote a few things about this video BELOW the video, including a ⚠️POTENTIAL FLASHING⚠️ warning for towards the end! or you can just watch it. whatever you want! also fuck good cropping.
👉its, again, no professional work. just doodling and coloring how i usually do, with the usual "quantity over quality" attitude that i like to stick with 👉there's a "practice critter" at the very beginning for a split second. i can explain that. i wanted to test medibang's timelapse feature and that pal helped me make sure all was good! 👉at some point maybe around the middle-end? MAYBE. the drawing suddenly zooms in some, as i crop the canvas at this time. usually i dont zoom in enough, but since it doesnt track every zoom anyway it seems, that doesnt matter (thankfully). but in general i just figured id let yall know of that sudden change even if its not a big deal 👉there are then a lil bit of flashing colors near the end when i make the background. the main colors are red, orange, and yellow, with some white and then some blue. the whole background changing like this makes me wanna put in a flashing lights warning just in case! ☝️and with that, here, this timelapse, and if you enjoy it, i wonder if you can get some insight or something as to how i draw and what my process is! i know i dont usually sketch out skeletons or anything, not even for faces, so thats probably weird huh..? idk i just love the freedom and loose linework and line directions from complete freehanded drawing!
